Fucking this. The wheelers are nightmare fuelReturn to Oz.
Expected: Dorothy and pals singing and skipping together on a brand new adventure.
Reality: Fucked up evil queen with a room full of detached heads screaming at Dorothy. Half-men/half-machine wheelers chasing people down.
Same movie, but...
I didn't even want to post the other gifs with Artax sunk in further, since the horse looks legit petrified and I'm pretty sure I'm still traumatized from it. :/
god damn it pinocchio
god damn it
The Witches
This movie traumatized me as a kid!
Robocop. always Robocop.
Robocop. Was 8 or 9. Never watched it again and never will.
Robocop, to say the fucking least.
This. Specially seeing this in your grandparents creepy house at night and having your older cousin making pranks all night after both seeing it.
Think I was like 5 or 6.
Didn't sleep for three days.

Fucking this. The wheelers are nightmare fuel
I've always had a bit of an anxiety issue so there's a few that gave me nightmares:
1) Jaws. Scared the shit out of me and gave me nightmares where I was being chased by a shark.
2) Nightmare on Elm Street 3. I had a lot of Freddy Krueger dreams after seeing that.
3) Weirdest of all, The Terminator. Which is also one of my favourites ever. Had a recurring nightmare where I was being hunted by the Terminator and it would find me even if I hid between the walls (don't ask how I managed to hide there lol).
Same here man! What's crazy is that me and my friend were meant to watch it that night on his dad's pc but the cat pissed on the screen and ruined it. It didn't matter because the movie was on Ch 4 that night anyway. Like it was fate! The exorcist. That movie fd me up. Especially the spider walk scene. I don't know how they did that special effect at that time but dear me. Scared the shit out of me.
KIds
Does IT count? My dad would watch it and it scared the hell out out of me when I was really young. I remember laying in bed one night shaking in fear. Ironically, it has become one of my favorite horror films/miniseries.
Candy-Man. I was 8. Watched it a week after my Aunt died of blood cancer (Leukemia). I still miss her messed me up for a while. I would only look down or cover my face with a pillow when using the bathroom.
Side Note: At the funeral when the priest was conducting the lowering and the ashes to ashes dust to dust tell me why a distant cousin stepped on the platform stopped the lowering and said: God you resurrected your son, as a Christian give me the power Lord. I command you to rise, rise out of this casket. Everybody was speechless. My big bro said he would have died right then and there if the casket moved. Stuck with me to this day.
