Final Fantasy Type-0 HD contains both JP and EN voice, Hexadrive developing

Yeah I thought they just said FFXV is almost completely running on Luminous already...
Probably the same fate as the last one. Used on XV and maybe anything following that up, then retired.

EDIT: Though if they STILL have serious trouble making that engine that really raises questions on SE's ability to provide themselves with an engine. Last gen was a pain in the ass with the Cell processor and the fact SE was casting their lot (initially) with the PS3 first and foremost, but now it's more standardized across multiple platforms... what the hell? They probably should just be getting 3rd party engines, though I guess UE3 burned them some.

Bring Kojima in I say!

I don't understand how a big publisher like S-E (Eidos + Square + Enix) got still problem in developing a proper functional engine to use worldwide with all the experience coming from their western studios and partially from their eastern's ones. As this point license something else if you can't make one of your own instead of wasting resources like you did with the crystal tools ~

Licensing and middleware have traditionally had a much bigger hurdle to cross as far as Japanese game development was concerned.

Part cultural/language barrier, part national pride of a sorts.

It does seem to be changing, though.

Hexadrive are the gods of remastering. Their involvement in one is always good news.

New scans are out, apparently they're also re-working somehow the original FMVs by cleaning them for higher resolution and adding special effects.
Speaking of which it's amazing noticing the details going into rendering ingame the cloaks of the characters, a couple of screenshots here really show all the efforts!
