Seems like a good bet. Although I hope they don't think releasing Fat Princess Adventures on the same day as FFVII is a good idea, because that's the equivalent of sending it out to die.

The game needs to have some improvements for me to buy it. Square needs to have fixed battles running at 15fps, for one. And secondly, I really really want a new translation.

We already know trophies are in, but ALL i want is the original PSone version soundtrack to be there. I am a music nut and I cannot enjoy the game with the terrible pc soundtrack. it actually ruins the iphone version for me.

square said the game would release in 2015 and were very dodgy about the release date while also being very silent about a port project. They dumped the iOS version out in august which would assume this version was also pretty much done and waiting for a good time to release. The trophies leaked earlier this week and it was rated yesterday saying its releasing today. Also the port was also announced at last years PSX. So all of the evidence points to today being a surprise release as a celebration to the history of playstation and a small treat to the fans.
I would actually be shocked if it was NOT released today.
