Are you referring to FFXV specifically or just the PS4P in general?
I would not put Luna up there with Kairi, who i've been wanting to see fight and have a decent part of the plot outside of being indirectly involved since the first game, when i was like 13.
Her nobody is basically the entire point of Chain of memories, rescuing her was a big part of the first game, in 358, Xion only existed in that form because she was the strongest influence on Sora to begin with. Hell Roxas and Namine only even exist because of Sora killing himself to free her heart from his body....yet Kairi herself is usually nowhere to be seen.
Its dumb.

Kairi about as irrelevant to KH plot as Lenalee in D.Gray-Man, just hope for something in the future now.

It can't be bad at the sisters combining into a bike...hell why did any of them become vehicle or something to ride on in that game?
And i would definitely not call Kairi's display similar to Lenalee, who is super important to the plot of DGM, and has directly shaped events in many scenarios.
Well, she is one of the princesses of Heart (which was a pretty big plot thing in KH1), didn't remain completely helplessly stranded on Destiny Island in KHII but left to search Sora on her own + DDD's ending implies she'll be more important in KHIII.

You know.... when I was a kid and I first played KH1.... it never truly hit me what was REALLY going on when Sora stabbed himself with the keyblade. All I can remember is Riku being a jerk, loving the cutscenes, boss fights that ranged from super easy to crazy hard, and trying so hard to find Kairi.
KH1 is truly magical. Definitely a game where playing as a kid then playing again in my early 20's is a emotional ride.

Why not? It was cool and a novel interpretation of the summons. At least XIII tried to do something different with them.
Why weren't they made traversible in the world and integrated into cool minigames on the world map is the true question one should be asking here. A whole load of wasted potential...
Because there was no world map in FF13, and every part of the game was a hallway except that one area on Pulsa, so there was no point in being able to ride them to begin with.

Urgh there should have been all that damnit!!
I remember when we heard news of the summons being vehicles I imagined they would be vital to travel to different locations in the world & help you reach previously unlocked locations.
lol none of that even close to happened...
She's basically in a coma for most of the game though and what you mean left to find Sora on her own she was merely captured by Axel (eventually was) and had to be save by Pluto & helped escapse by her nobody.
I don't expect anyone outside of Sora, Riku and maybe Terra and Aqua to do anything important in KH3.
But they set Kairi up to be a bigger force in DDD, which i think is far past due.

Honestly think Axel to do more...something with Isa.
Kairi going to be about as important like Sakura in the final war battle in Naruto, especially battle wise.
I just don't have the trust in Nojima to do something with her yet.

I think your first mistake was comparing Kingdom Hearts to Naruto. Just don't compare Kishimoto to anything or anyone else, ever please. As many faults as KH has in regards to convolution, it can't be fairly compared to something on the level of Naruto in plain awfulness.

Just because there's more? The designs of the classic summons were more the issue in XIII rather than there just being 2 of them IMO. XV's seems pretty true/close to the traditional design to me. Besides, we don't even know if they're just like clones or illusions for the attack. Unless those scans stated otherwise and weren't just screens.

They pair off neatly - Noctis/Prompto, Ignis/Gladiolus, Cor/the cold, lonely embrace of death. Each pairing will likely have mutually exclusive fans.

Ignis X Cor could be cute too.
Do people still really care about Cor? He seemed cool in earlier material but it's pretty clear now that he's just another flat character that gives you quests. And it's too weird how everyone in Noctis' entourage talks like they're from completely different countries, especially Cor and Regis Vs. everyone else.

People really like Cor because he has a really simple yet good design. He's also a Auron 2.0. And trust me... I know. Ignis' voice is over the top and cringey. Gladio's voice also has problems but it's not as bad.
His name is Cor, why else would people need to like him?
Seriously. I didn't think I was capable of disliking a british voice, I freakin love british accents! But his stiff delivery kinda bugs me.
Looks way better than 13. Easily up there in top incarnations of Shiva. How can you judge it the way you are?
