First 45 minutes of Returnal

Is there tax on US PSN purchases or does $70 = $70? It's the equivalent of $97 in the UK and I'm sure even more in other places.

It Takes Two, which is one of the best games I've played in years, was $35. I know Roguelikes are arguably unlimited in terms of playtime but I tend to play solidly until I get bored of the gameplay loop which never takes that long.

Our government just introduced a 5% VAT (there was no VAT, thanks to fucking COVID-19) few days ago, and I just checked amazon for $100 PSN card and it has zero taxes. Put in mind some extra fee is hidden for currency exchange, but minimal. I buy lots of stuff from amazon and usually deal with $10-100+ import fees (not taxes, now there is 5% VAT) but this has none. I always buy from Amazon, get an email with direct link to SonyEntertainmentNetwork and copy the code from the email and past it their directly. Just don't buy cards and keep them idle, I've read some complained that after like 2-3 months it doesn't register to some if they never used them.

Also I use an address in Virginia, US for the US PSN account that ads no extra taxes to game purchases.

I mean it looks kinda interesting and ok but Enemies shooting slow bullets in a pattern in 70usd game? idk... I kinda wanted to buy this but it looks like people want this only because there is nothing else.
Don't get me wrong.. I love Enter the gungeon and got over 100 hours into it and another 100 in binding of isaac. Well.. we will see

You're right. At 70 dollars US those bullets should be shooting at 700 m/s bullet velocity, not 5 m/s.

I'm confident they will have an alternative control scheme. Otherwise, people who don't have adaptive triggers on will miss out on important game mechanics like alternative firing mode. Let's waiit for official confirmation or reviews that address this, but I'm 99.99% sure there will be alternative control schemes.

I can imagine that without that physical feedback it's going to be extremely easy to fire off that secondary mode. And with a game like this that's probably extremely easy to do. I hope the devs have a good alternative for those that don't want the triggers. But if not then they are going to be missing out on something that might be vital to making the game playable.

No previews I've read complain about this. How about we wait and see.
Now, the biggest decision i have to make is Digital or Physical...i can't decide
Digital. Fuck extra plastic hanging around.

If you think you gonna sell it, some friend borrowing it from you, then physical. Otherwise I would suggest digital.
I like owning my shit and i don't sell my stuff(rarely), but i'm lazy , i keep my games , heck i still have a shitload of ps3 , gamecube and ps4 games , i'm a collector , so debating to own physical or be lazy and get it digital, i'll have a beer or 2 tonight and smoke some weed a bit and new shit will come to light

Plus, anyone else is in the same boat as i am? I just started playing Ghost of tsushima and Demon souls on Ps5 , i bought Hitman 3 , ass creed valhalla and i have so many fucking games i have to finish i feel almost guilty to buy this lol my backlog is pretty wack, i feel like i have ADD lol

I just played Ghosts, then Valhalla then just finished Fenyx rising and now onto new spiderman remastered then miles after that. I dont get allot of game time busy with work so that is over quite a few months basically since ps5 came out.

Fenxy rising was the big surprise in that list.

Not too sure what comes after miles, but I like good combat so eyeing up Returnal for sure

Same here. I'm playing Ghost of Tsushima. I'm on act 3 so hopefully there's not much more left. I'm pretty bored by it by now.

Still need to finish Sackboy, Oddworld, Blasphemous, Sniper Elite 4, Titanfall 2, Travis Strikes Back...

Thing is, Returnal appears to be everything I like about games and I'm sure I'll finish it before anything else.

I don't think i ever finished a open world game and i played many , i sometimes start GTA5 just to walk around in the world and stare at shit in 1st person and not do the missions hahha

1. Not a gimmick if it's literally adding more functionalities to existing buttons.

Its just using L2 for aiming 2 different fire modes, but the weapon only ever fires with R2.

And they've said all the controls are fully customizable. They cover it all here.

I haven't been paying attention to this at all- someone sell this to me with no spoilers
Interstellar and Alien had a baby
The baby grew up and the parents read HP Lovecraft for it and had HR Giger mobiles over its bed
The child became an adult, met Metroid Prime and they had a baby
The baby was given only Hades and Nier Automata to play with as a child. As an adult she created a game called Returnal.

I don't think I could play it without the triggers though. They seem extremely useful in this game and would probably give me an advantage.

Bloodhouse when they did the first lot of Stardust and Super Stardust on the Amiga - ex demo coders / sceners I believe.

Wait a month and will be available at 40$ Like every PS exclusive.
It's not happening guys. All first party PS5 games haven't moved one inch in their digital prices. I have the feeling Sony is going for the Nintendo approach and keeping prices at a premium. Good thing I'm single, no kids and earn good money.

Noticed this too, they haven't had a single price drop on their PS5 1st party lineup. I hope they have some discounts at some point. I wanna buy Spider-Man MM deluxe edition to get the upgraded 2018 game, but i already own it on PS4 so it feels a little stupid to buy the $70 version at this point.

I feel like my PS5 is going to break down soon. I've spent way more time on it than any console before it during the launch window. And the next few months are stacked.

And Resogun, Alienation and Nex Machina are among the tightest arcade games ever made. If you like arcade games they are pure gems from the last generation that have not received the attention they deserve because of indie budgets, not first/third person and pure arcade experiences. If you like arcade games, buy one and enjoy :)
