What's crazy is that Clayface could end up doing more than Supergirl. Horror movies are making great numbers this year.

Making it a horror film isn't my thing but it is an infinitely more interesting looking character and film.

He is a tragic villain. So there is more empathy for him than a reckless overpowered brat.

The first supergirl movie I remember her being some what soft in presentation so that made the strength impressive. Current one just an abuse of power.

I don't think he'll be sacked, but Superman didn't do that great. Good enough to get a sequel, but it made less at the box office than Man of Steel.

The global audience outside the US just doesn't care that much for Superman.
