Its what I wonder Muslims for Republicans feel like. A party that actually hates them and fans the flame of hatred but "oh I agree with them on taxes and socially conservative policies".
I always found the Republicans to be lacking on actual factual substance. Their economic theories don't pan out, their arguments have zero history, context, or nuance, and they pick and choose freedom from government when it fits their agenda and then impose government when it fits their religious agenda.
Usually people in real life I know who are Republicans answer nonsensical stuff like "well I believe in the constitution" or "I believe in hard work".
