Sooooo..... on that flipnote.hatena.com site, what is the "command" shown on the right? Can you somehow bring it up on your copy of the game if you input that command? Will it download it from the network?
 
I can not find out how to post anything online :lol :(

I made a 2 second animation (Poorly) as a test and can't find out how to post it. Looked everywhere. Found how to post in the built in manual but it still did'nt work.

Got a gif of it. Might upload it and try to post it to hatena later...

Go to channel list, select a channel, click description, then click post.

It is the user command I think. You input it to find a specific user.

Makes it easier to find the animation on your DSi, there's a menu option that lets you input those commands
 
As soon as NOA brings that sexy red DSi to NA, I'll bite - and then download this and all of the Art Style DSiWare games (I loves me some Art Style)...
 
See the only one I've ever made on my Japanese DSi (although to be fair I've only had it for a couple of weeks) is about the firing of a certain laser. So I'm not allowed to post it here :(
 
The thing is Nintendo has already made the best piece of animation possible with this software. It will never be beaten.

Ok I've made an animation and I cannot for the life of me figure out how you upload it! I've signed up to Hatena and I can't find the upload option, it only seems to let me send my animations locally!

What do I need to do?

Upload it through Hatena on the Dsi.

Working one something, but music is a bummer. Only through MIC huh? ONly for 1 frame as well? THat can't be right can it?
 
This alone makes the DSi worth it. There are many reasons to consider the DSi, but Flipnote studios makes it a must buy. Holy shit.

For those of you that don't give half a shit about this app, shame on you btw, you should still download it. If it is anything like the DSi browser, you might get 10 free coins!

I do too. I made it before I saw this thread, and thought I should post it. Then I saw the Falcon gif and knew that I had to.

Yeah, there's one called FlipBook for $10. There's some other cheaper ones too, search the App Store for "flipbook animation".
 
Could anyone explain to me how to upload one of my animations to Hatena from the DSi? The interface isn't exactly intuitive.

I think the music option records for as long as the animation's duration, so wait and record it last.

Once you've registered your account, go to the Hatena area on your DSi, click Channels, pick the channel you want to post to, then click the Post button in the lower right of the screen.

Oh happy day, I love this little app! I'm having a hard time finding some of the Japanese animations on the DSi, I hope they don't wall the US and Japanese communities.

press up on Dpad and there is a microphone button. in there you can record custom sounds etc

I know that, but the length i very short. How do you time it to the frames, or make the record time longer? I can't seem to find the answers...
