You can go back on the highway by taking another route. You can actually go back to the highway as many times as you need! I got the trophy for bringing the city back. I made sure that every piece of grass was brought back to color instead of being dark and I made sure that I broke very single thing I found. That's the only advice I can give you.
There have been times lately when I have been getting a little bored with what gaming had to offer but this title has restored my faith in my favourite hobby. I feel like I did when first playing my Atari 2600 back in the day, just sheer joy. So much fun, I don't want it to end, I really haven't been this happy playing a video game since I was a kid...and I have had some AMAZING experiences since then. Full props to the dev, they have, in my mind, created a masterpiece and if any videogame could be called art, well this is it.
Am I the only one who misses a retail box for this game?
I don't need an actual disc, just something beautiful to display the awesomeness when the PS3 is turned off or not around. Are there any fake box artworks on the net for this?

Oddest thing happened.... just playing around in the first meadow i rode the breeze up as high as i could, pointed at teh sun and then let go. when i finally tipped over and started floating back down I couldn't help but catch my breath. I briefly but distinctly smelled a sweet grassy flowerly scent. mind. blown.
This game should've been in space. I would love to be some kind of star dust running through the galaxy with planets and stars all around me. They should make that...
The only criticism i have is that I hoped the game would be a little more
sinister with it's final levels
I wanted more showing the fall of human society. Because that's what I came away with from the game. It takes place after a society has fallen due to whatever you fought at the end.

Just had a second play through, really is such a beautiful game, I found myself actually enjoying it more on my second go as the controls felt alot more intuitive.
Not sure whether this is a spoiler or not but
I thought the picture frame level (the credits) was a really fun to play, wish you could take away the credits though so it plays faster.
Two entirely different companies, each striving for totally different meanings towards their developments. It's only the mindless banter of gaming fans that create this stupidity of having to better others.
Beat the first 2 levels last night. I got in at about midnight and had little time but I'm glad I got in a couple of levels. Very beautiful and cerebral experience. This is defining content here.
That's what swayed me and I don't regret it. But I will say it's not for everyone (what game is?).
But Flower has the best use of motion controls I've ever experienced (I don't Wii). Feels so intuitive. I'm sure that's already been said but having got a trophy earlier I stopped playing to have a breather.
Im not sure what I did, Ive only played the first 3 levels, but you know once you complete a level, you go back to the apartment and a leaf lands on the flower pot and the flower blooms a little.
Well when I finished level 3
( I did spend a lot of time back tracking, doing the cave, and got the flOw trophy, and not realizing it), .
and when I got back to the apartment, 3 leaves fell and the flower bloomed significantly more than from the two levels before.
I saw some promo footage of the game today, (linked from TGCs site to Gamespot) and the guy demoing the game didnt have this and he had a few more plants in the apartment.

I really didnt pay attention to the trophies or the secret flowers; I was just floating around enjoying the scenery. This game is great, last night I caught myself smiling to myself. I really enjoy the sense of, I guess, freedom. Kinda like TGCs Cloud but more fulfilling, and prettier.
Absolutely gorgeous. What an amazing treat after a hectic, stressful day.
I adored fl0w (hell, it's my PSN avatar ), but I'm really loving Flower more.
whatever Sony is paying thatgamescompany... double it.
Two years is faaaaaar too long of a gap between games from these people.

this game has defined goals and an end state. it's definitively more of a 'game' than flow was. It has cut-scenes and a narrative and I felt the controls were improved of flow's, but that might be that they were just explained better. The pacing is very strong as well, even if the game is pretty short And while it's very relaxing there are also parts that are intense. it's also cheap as hell. buy buy buy!
Just bloom every single flower during the credits.
Illumination is something completely different on another stage.
"flOw"
is when you enter the hidden entrance of the cave on the windmill stage, in the canyon area. Just keep trying different paths and backtracking and looping through it, you'll find it. I think it's off to the right.
"Dream"
find the 3 hidden flowers in each stage... a guide posted above
No kidding, my jaw was dropping throughout the experience and I'm somewhat relieved to see a similar response from the gaf collective. I didn't need validation, but it's nice to know I wasn't going crazy for no reason.
Fuck looks like the hidden flowers for level 2 are bugged for me. The second flower never appears for me. I'm very stubborn about cheat guides so I spent hours replaying the level making sure I collected every single flower. Then I finally relented and looked at the guide in this thread and sure enough I did do what it said many times over.
