So event's over - they had to call it off mostly due to the weather (it was extremely windy).
Anyways, it was an event for an Encom "press conference". At the event, Alan Bradley announced the return of Space Paranoids (for online). Once his speech concluded, most of which was praising Kevin Flynn and his work - so this was totally legit. Suddenly, the stage was taken over by a bunch of people (it was the Flynn Lives group) that hijacked the stage and proceeded to force Encom to resume the search for Flynn, clear his name, credit him, etc. After order was restored, there was an Encom heicopter circling 'round the event and then a guy jumped out. Guy lands in the plaza where the crowd was gathered, but security grabs the guy. End event.
Basically, there was supposed to be more as they were filming the crowd and focusing on the guy who was most likely a stunt man. But because the way he came in for his landing, they had to call the event due to the extremely high winds in San Francisco (guy almost hit the stage in his descent).
Walked away with a poster, tshirt, two Space Paranoid pins and some claim codes for the Flynn Lives site.
Despite the event being called, it was awesome to see the Encom cast there, and yes, they were much older now. Bruce looked just like he did in the recent trailer, which was good for continuity.
