Olives!
Just kidding. Olives are the best!
Damn right. Olives are god tier. I'm planning on planting a Texas olive tree in my backyard.
Anything that has even the slightest hint of Coffee, i.e. coffee cake, revels.
Chicken feet. Tastes precisely like what you think feet taste like.
Sorry, I like decent untainted chocolate. I don't mind some of the trash-tier Nestlé-like chocolate candy but not anything mixed with peanut butter, that's nasty.Umm, pretty sure you aren't human if you dislike Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, holy shit.
Man I love all of those foods (steamed cauliflowers sprinkled with Montreal-style vegetable spices is actually pretty decent). Mushrooms enhance almost any dish for me.Mushrooms. There are some foods that I hate but wish I didn't (Strawberries). There are some foods I love but can't appreciate why people hate them (brutal sprouts).
But mushrooms look disgusting, smell disgusting and taste disgusting. I hate how silently prominent they are in recipes so I have to check every lasagne, spag bol and curry I eat.
Mushrooms, fish, cauliflower and strawberries are just about the only foods I dislike and it's such an inconvenience.
Yeah, it's a similar thing to melons and stuff... it's just some fibers and water with some very slight flavoring unless it's an old bitter one.
Those are both just made of fish though. D:
Not really surprised at the seafood issues but at the same time... that's a lot of stuff you can't eat.Even if it's prepared in a way that masks it?
It's just egg and oil (with flavoring) really. There are similar emulsions out there that are also delicious. Homemade Vietnamese mayonnaise is amazinggggg.
I can eat with no problem anything I've tried so far, even foods that I dislike, but I need a lot of resolve to even go half-way through a single piece of Cueritos (Mexican version). Cueritos are a kind of pickled pig skin that are usually eaten with Tostadas (Hard tortillas, like American Taco Shells) and some vegetables such as lettuce and tomato, sometimes even with pickled nuts. They have an absolutely horrible chewy texture that feels like you're chewing through an acid piece of rubber. And don't get me started on how they look...Rectangular maggots!
This is me too! I like most everything people listed in here but i hate eggplant! It looks cool and doesnt taste strong but i dont likw the texture.Eggplant.
Lots. I'm a terribly fussy eater to the point where I think it's developed into a phobia. Put down any sort of mean in front of me and I'll eat it. It could be rat meat or whatever and I'd still eat it if it was safe, but I just can't touch vegetables. The only vegetables I can eat are peas, everything else just tastes horrible to me. I've tried carrots, broccoli, lettuce, cauliflower and others that I can't remember and they all make me instantly gag the moment I try and eat them. It sucks because I really want to like them, especially now since I want to set a good example for my daughter, but it's gotten to the point now where even thinking about eating something like a carrot makes me anxious. It's so stupid and I really hate that I have such a childish reaction to things like this because it makes it really hard to eat healthy meals, but they just repulse me.
There are lots of other things I don't like (fish, baked beans, rice) but if I could stomach vegetables I'd be a much happier person.
On a related note, I hate it when I'm in a bar or out for food and they serve me my coke with a slice of lemon in it.
Most nuts. Walnuts, pecans, almonds, etc. I can tolerate peanuts, but hate most other kinds of nuts. I don't mind peanut butter but don't love the taste of peanuts in things (like Pad Thai, I just don't really like).
But generally I dislike all nuts.
WTF is this monstrosityOr slather it in BBQ sauce.

WTF is this monstrosity
I don't mind the occasional "California roll" when it's not too over-the-top, but this... uuuurgh
mac & cheese. truly cannot begin to understand how people like that stuff
Looks great. Though I'd prefer traditional Japanese sushi I'd eat that.Big stupid American Sushi rolls. You don't need to fry everything and put mayo on for it to be delicious.

The Japanese prefer to use very simple ingredients. Eating those giant, humongous, fake rolls is like putting ranch on your pristine steak.

Bean sprouts and cucumber. The latter one is weird because I really enjoy a slice in a gin and tonic or in zaziki.
There is Vietnamese mayonnaise? Isn't that just normal mayonnaise? The stuff on banh mi?
I am Vietnamese and never heard of it, lol.
