Forza 5 Xbox One to use "infinite power of the cloud"

Built from the ground up to take advantage of Xbox One and the infinite power of the cloud, no game better delivers the sensation of being behind the wheel.

Since it's built to take advantage of the cloud, we shall soon see how MS promises materialize.

Well, at least we'll know soon enough if that cloud thing is a reality or just nothing. No room for vaporware.

This cloud shit is starting to annoy me. It's gonna fool the hell outta people for being legit.

Worse hyperbole than PS3 and the cell

Funny how the infinite power of the cloud is very close to a bit below the finite power of PS4 when comparing Driveclub and Forza 5.

So is it going to look better than DriveClub or what?

It's likely physics calculations, not realtime graphics. But Drive Club isn't even a sim so it isn't a big deal.

Show us Infinity, Microsoft.

Our bodies are ready.

Soon the Great Journey shall begin. But when it does, gamers' lack of reliable internet access will stay their feet, and they shall be left behind
Amazing.

It's called the Internet but MS thinks it's great to use buzzword from 5 years ago.

Most regular people have no idea what Cloud really is.

MS knows what they're doing by using this buzzword everywhere and we've already seen mainstream media falling for it.

Whatever the cloud can or can't do, the label "infinte power" is really stupid.

It's just the marketing dept spinning the scalability of the setup. I agree a bit of a reach, though not a straight up lie.

I'll be curious what MS does with cloud besides match making and advanced stat tracking(ie Super Autolog)

Is it E3 yet?

How can you compare the two? We haven't even seen actual gameplay of Froza 5 yet...

Well if that wasn't gameplay of Forza at their conference what was it? If that was CG I feel seriously bad for the gameplay that will come out. Drive Club looks much better than what they showed of Forza at the MS conference.

"Infinity power of the cloud", man that's bad PR.

Expect over the top multiplayer with features across many devices, and MAYBE some in game improvements, even been a cloud computing dude, we can't tell how ready can it be for launch.

Too much latency to outsource physics calculations to a remote server. Forza usually samples physics at 360fps.

Anyway, I'm almost convinced 'cloud power' is going to become the blast processing of this generation

Simply amazing. So the graphics will continuously evolve over the course of the generation and end up looking better then real life?

Dat infinite power.

Stupid question but what happens if everyone with a xbox buys a game that requires intensive cloud usage and the cloud isnt able to provide the feedback required, game crash?

Scalability of what? No one even knows what the almighty cloud is supposed to do. Saying "infinite" anything is the biggest hyperbolic bullshit you could say about a thing.
