Are the people getting their codes also recipients of the delivery delay email?

I am, yes.

I'm pretty sure the delay e-mail is a standard thing with Target when you buy stuff with e-mail delivery. No clue why.

How is Windows 10 Store or whatnot as a gaming platform?

"Fine" if you login-in to W10 with your MS acc and keep W10 automatically updating.

Still, you might face some problems of completing some downloads requiring you to re-download.

It's young, so it's still pretty buggy.

Got my game code + VIP code just now. Took about 25 minutes from ordering, and about 20 minutes from the delay email.

I still have another order pending (hedged my bets as to whether a credit card or Paypal would go through) so I might have another game code + VIP code coming.

For what it's worth, the order that came through was Paypal. The credit card order is still in limbo.
