Forza Horizon 6 |OT| Tōge Drift

I don't know if this is already posted (my apologies if so), but there's a RenoDX HDR mod out for this game now. It's the first version, so it's in its initial phases of fixing HDR.

It works for both Steam and Gamepass, as usual together with _ReShade with addonsupport_ (drop the addon64 file in the folder and install reshade on gamelaunchhelper.exe)

I know, I've played it for over a thousand hours in multiplayer.

It occurred to me that if they built it into Horizon, even as a separate gaming section, it could be extremely popular due to the millions of Horizon players. Of course, it would have to be done well, with quick changes between race tracks, with the most simulation settings possible.

Probably not a bug. I have noticed in other games framegen turning off in cutscenes or specific situations etc, then turning back on when you go back to playable gameplay.

This is the last game I would request a refund for. Best Forza Horizon I've played! It even surpassed FH3 for me, just awesome. Only thing I miss is my own setup. I used to play FH3 on a triple screen setup with wheel, using bonnet cam. That was something else. The sense of speed and immersion was sooo good. Really miss all that, had to take it down when restructuring the house to have more rooms for the kids, now I'm either playing on a normal TV 3m away on a sofa or on a tiny 27" single screen 😩

Considering buying it.

Did they change anything about how game plays or is it still "Play some missions hoping to earn money and instead you spin stupid wheel for most of progression oh and btw here is the fastest car in the game in less than 40 minutes." like past 2 games ? I hated that fucking gameplay.
 
Forza horizon has always felt like the most no brainer, easy premium edition upgrade choice ever to me. If just buy the full game on loaded and get it for cheap too.

In 5 I usually finished events with a mix of pro and unbeatable but in 6 the behavior above expert is egregious. The amount of times I've been side rammed just by passing through, dive bombed and ass fucked it's insane.

And unless you're using some godly tune 8/10 races end up like this. So fucking sad to see this again.

Agreed, its no fun playing on higher difficulty. They obviously cheat, going way faster than is possible in straights and corners. They also ram the fuck out of you and you cant do the same cause theyre glued to the road.
I did my first R race yesterday and that shit was a complete joke. Turned down the difficulty so i could pass everybody and just race on my own cause that shit made mad as fuck. I dont understand how the AI is still this retarded after so many forza games.

I think Xbox and GP PC can take a plane to New Zealand in about 6hrs. Steam appears to be a simultaneous global release aligned to midnight EST May 19th.

In short. If you liked previous games you'll like this too. And if you didn't like previous games you won't like this either.

It's very similar. Progression is definitely too fast for me as well. I got some early access bonus and loyalty cars too which are fast as lightning.

But wheel spins has been awful for me, it's like I'm getting trolled, 12 hours in and I've only won 2 cars! The rest has been money or some other not-a-car crap!

Either way, I'm still in love. Because of all the rest, the fun, the insanity, the chaos, the variety. Only thing I really want now is nitro boosts. Why can't I get that Playground!?? 😩
 
Question for those who have early access :
Is this model available in game ? I heard rumors it was once you reach level 100 but i need to be sure before buying

 
How come the reviews were so bad for this game for the first few hours or so of launch on Steam and then its contently been climbing since. Can you sort reviews by the time they were uploaded? I feel like something dodgy had to go on here as it started at like 50 percent review score and its been steadily climbing ever since.

Did it get review bombed or something at first and then its recovered?

Probably people who might have been having launch hour issues. Steam reviews are kinda reactionary like that.

Thats a normal thing imho. People tend to downvote when they have technical issues....and there were quite a few in the beginning. But technical issues are usually solvable -> rating goes up!

I was getting a lot of stutters with my 4090 intel 14900 (I never had them with FH4 or 5). And it felt like I was paying $130 for a Japan map pack.

I love this series, but my interest in it has been dwindling. 100+ hours in FH4, 40-50 in FH5.

But I think I feel better getting the Standard version, which I think I'll pick up right now :)

I'm usually done with the game by the time the DLCs come out. I'll play for maybe an hour or so and drop it. So this is the way to go!

I hope the VIP membership is reasonable.
