I didn't know where to put this, and I know it seems pretty weird to devote an entire thread to this, but once you hear the Rusko remix of Bionic Commando you'll understand. Hear me out, or hear the songs rather before you go ape on me.

In celebration of the new Bionic Commando video game (available for Xbox, PS3 and PC), Capcom got some wicked producers to remix the soundtrack. At Mad Decent we got the Rusko Remix for you, and over at Discodust and Big Stereo they got Surkin and Clipz Remixes for you.

Rusko Remix (Scroll Down a bit and its like the 8th Post)

Clipz Remix (3rd Post Down)

Surkin Remix (7th Post Down)

If you right click and pick save link as you can actually download the song onto your computer, which is what I did for the Rusko remix.

Hint: Playing the songs while playing Bionic Commando Rearmed is a great experience
Edit: I guess nobody cares, : (

Are these somehow better than the remixed material that was in Rearmed?
I don't know if I would say better, but there definitely worth checking out, especially given that they are only a click away.

Yuck. I hate when remixes use the old horrific-sounding audio quality like it's cute or something. Rearmed did the music perfectly.
Huh? I'm confused, it only starts out like as an into to the first song.

I didn't know that the fact that the remixes in BC:R were good could act as a hindrance to liking anything else...Seems kind of silly to me.

BC:R remixes weren't only good. There were F-ing perfect.

The Surkin one is pretty cool, Rusko wasn't really too much my thing, but I didn't expect a wonky dubstep rmx of Bionic Commando in a million years!

the BC:R OST love-in has made me think of how much I hope the next Tron movie (if there ever is one) will have contemporary videogame music stylings. Sure, the original Tron soundtrack is very unique and memorable, but outside of the main theme, there isn't much that lends itself to modern music and media.
