Japanese Xbox 360 owners who are waiting for Namco's Frame City Killer will now have to wait a little longer. Today, Namco announced that the futuristic shooter will be delayed in Japan from a February 23 release to "spring 2006." The company blamed the delay on the usual go-to culprit, "quality-assurance issues." In Frame City Killer, players take the role of Crow, an assassin sent to a metropolis to identify and eliminate Khan, a mysterious terrorist and drug kingpin. Players track and profile targets in the game, while using numerous methods to execute the perfect hit.

Now that sounds interesting, especially in a open go anywhere city. Good thing about the delay, looks like it needed more time to cook.

I still actually hold out hope that this turns out decent since I always thought it seemed cool.

Watch it's release get pushed from spring to indefinite , in japan atleast. Namco is likely still reeling over the fact that RR6 failed to seel 1:1 with such a small number of systems over there.

It'll creak out of the woodworks in september over here methinks.

There's a video on this month's OXM disc; if the engine can actually show that many NPCs at once, it has the potential to make up for the horrible car modeling.

Maybe.

Kind of.

....Yeah, I don't believe it either.

Hopefully, this will be time well spent; it isn't worth damaging Namco's reputation just because this isn't a PlayStation title.

Yeah, after the travesty that was Starfox, they'd better man the hell up.

That's my new favorite saying of the week; "MAN UP".

Thank you for reminding me of Assault, a game I paid full price for. Excuse me a second while I cry.
