well, still no emails, but i got the rest of my live search club prizes today!

I thought this might be a relevant thread. I'm trying to redeem a code and I'm having no luck. The 360 says the code is bad, the MS website says HAY 1600 POINTS 4 U CLICK HERE FOR FUN! And then its like LOL SOMETHING IS BROKE TRY LATER!

Is everyone having this problem or does Microsoft hate me?

You are using it in the correct region right? Or maybe Live is just being shitty right now.
 
I got the card from amazon for free with RB2. My XBL account is US. The card itself doesn't say anything about what region it's for. It's in english and spanish.

I ordered a couple Zunes when it was all the craze back then, and haven't recieved anything since. I've started back up recently, though. :D
 
Fuck this bullshit. There is absolutely NO reason why emails haven't been sent out yet. They're fucking stalling. The question is WHY.
 
You know...I entered that contest to win Points from Stride for a Rock Band track, got the email today and forwarded it to my roommate who has Rock Band thinking it was a code that redeemed a Rock Band song specifically, and then he redeems it, and gets 160 MS Points. God damn it. I have 700 points, and that would have put me at 860 to buy a full 800 point game. Damn it! Let me know if there's any other chances around.

Mine already died between the time I was supposed to get them and the time we will :( Oh well, at least they're entered on the website.

90% chance that as soon as we hear about a good one, it'll be dead.

The only reason there was a clusterfuck with this Dream Car Challenge one was because the point codes were limited per GamerTag, but people didn't realize that until too late, so assholes who registered 30-300 accounts to get free points ended up blowing through their coffers, wasting codes and ruining it for people who actually would get up to 1800 points, I believe.

Well, it was both. I got around 1400 the first time before it ran out. I spent too much time telling friends and GAF. Then they did this thing afterwards.
 
I just got 6 50 point codes. :lol The gift that keeps on giving. I should buy some gamerpics to say thank you.
 
I got 3 50s.
I'm fairly sure I should have more >_> I did it on a few accounts because I couldn't figure out if my extra points worked or not. One account should have like 500 once I figured out that we don't get points until later.
 
being that I'm from all the way up here in Canada, the promotional code I just got doesn't work lol so free 50 points to the first to cash it in.. enjoy!
