So, I was thinking, is anyone of you guys afraid of dying alone?

I think I'm a little afraid of that. Must be uncool. On the other hand, spending your life with someone else is also suboptimal.

It would be great if you could find someone for the 2 or 3 last years before you die.
I'd hate to leave/abandon somebody or a pet, not really afraid to die alone.
Best to just Minecraft myself at an opportune moment, slam into a bridge at top speed or something similar fun and blame it on somebody completely unrelated in a goodbye-note.

Not always, everyone can have an off day.
It happens a lot in football too. It's pretty common to see a top-division team lose to a club from a much lower league

Basically the equivalent of an NBA team losing to a minor league team

In cup tournaments, teams from all divisions compete together, so top-tier clubs regularly face teams from leagues far below them

i remember a match where the second best team in the league got dunked on by a division 4 or 5 team, mainly for the commentary on the divide of player quality. one newspaper wrote that the whole lower division team could have been paid for by Borussia Dortmunds' stamp budget (Portokasse, basically petty cash).
Really fun to see teams like that fail.

Yeah man, some of these budgets are completely bonkers.

At some point you have to wonder how a defender is worth £190k a week when he's getting bullied by a guy who probably had to ask for time off work to play the match lol

Really fun to see teams like that fail.
Yeah, I think it's fun too. I'm basically a neutral football enjoyer, but those matches always have this weird pressure hanging over the bigger teams

It's basically 11 multimillionaires in their early 20s against 11 guys who have regular jobs during the week and play football on the side

Speaking of which, the new documentary on Vinnie Jones dropped today on Netflix.

Pretty good so far 😀
Oh damn. I just switched from HBO to Netflix too

Unfortunately players like Vinnie Jones are very rare in modern football. When a player like Vinnie Jones was on the pitch, it felt like anything could happen. Crunching tackles, arguments, mind games, all of it.

Loved his role in Snatch btw

I did not bring up Germans. I asked if you read Nietzsche not if you want to talk about Germans. Why would I wanna do that?

This whole retarded conversation started because I was making a joke about you. It was a pretty good joke btw.
