Traditional Indian musicians discovered Dilla somehow and were inspired by it. Instrumental EP including a cover of Time: Donut of the Heart and Fall in Love:

Baqar says despite the unorthodox blending of elements, his bandmates were always open to trying new things and seeing where they ended up.

”They were really excited. They obviously had no idea who Dilla was, and I feel happy if I can show the genius of Dilla to other people. Even the tabla player said he learned from Dilla's drum technique, because Dilla's drums are very uniquely programmed, [but] they're not necessarily on beat. I remember [Kashif and Vicky] trying to play behind the beat, trying to copy a Dilla style, and it was very difficult. Imagine, you train yourself for years to play like a metronome—suddenly, to try and play with a lazy feel but make it sound rhythmical, is very difficult. So we all kind of learned throughout the process, which is good. It was a good experience."

With more people listening than expected, Jaubi now find themselves at a transformative stage, Indian classical musicians who broke out into the Western market making hip-hop covers. ”For me, I'd like to produce something similar to Voodoo. I don't know how the hell we'll do it, but I'd really like to explore the neo-soul stuff," said Baqar.​

Ah gotcha. Yeah I'm always a little wary of watching stuff at home especially with a younger brother around lol.

DS2 is good, been a lil while since i've listened to it though--i listened to it quite a bit and then never really returned to it.

i think i end up subconsciously distancing myself from these big albums (or maybe just distancing myself from the internet) when they are first released because it's hard for me to fairly engage with them or talk about them when the internet is going wild with the #instant #classic stuff. my personal takes/opinions get altered whenever that happens. i totally understand the hype train over something anticipated tho

Boost 350s and 750s both grew on me.

Yeezy I and II have some of the best and creative colourways of any shoes. Same goes with the LV sneakers although in retrospect, I think I just dug the LV logos on the midsole.

Yeah, it's weird but pretty cool.

I guess it has to do with all of these guys growing up on the internet and not having any boundaries when it comes to listening or making music, thanks to the access the internet provides when it comes to discovering and uploading music.

He helped produce Alright, so Alright

But he also produced the best song from Blonde in Pink + White so....

But there's also Shake Ya Ass, The Next Level, Lapdance, and like Half of Justified

Solo's the best song on the album, but yes you're right about Pink + White being incredible.
