Not sure if it's related but I keep getting warnings from IE8 (work PC!!) advising that the site has been modified to prevent XSS attacks. Whenever this happens, the ads are missing.
Haven't had a chance to test in any other browsers and it doesn't appear to happen every time. Dodgy ad trying to sneak through?
It's not happening 100% of the time, as I type this there's an ad on screen.

EDIT: Just saw the update. Guess I will have to browse mobile for the time being...

That didn't work either. He is still seeing that old splash page. His work blocks all .com addresses and every .net address he tries, he's seeing the old splash page from last November when the logo was redesigned or whatever.
And after trying to log in:
Windows -> Run -> cmd -> nslookup www.neogaf.com
The result need to be this:

neogaf.net redirects to neogaf.com, but if you use neogaf.net/forum/ it won't redirect and you get the splash screen.
Tested that just now.
Edit: Looks like the .net side just isn't working at all. I guess if I'd paid attention that's what people were saying previously... whoops. But that explains the problem The Lamonster is describing.

worked earlier today. and now i get this when i go view my post history.

Not sure if it is intentional or just me, but I'm not seeing ads on the mobile app in the main forum browser windows. I see them when I click into an individual thread, but not in the windows that list all the forum's threads, if that makes sense. But sometimes they don't even appear in the individual threads themselves. No 404 or anything, just a background.
Edit: It appears if I click the thread title there is no ads. If I click the arrow that takes me to the last unread post of the thread, the ads load.

Whenever I click on the orange 'orb' icon next to a thread to take me to any unread posts, it starts me way back before the new post. It will be days out and always begin on posts I've already read. Not sure if related or not.......?

I think is a problem on your side, but since when this happens? Can be the clear of the session table I did this morning
