All shot with my Nikon Series E 75-150mm f3.5. Such a wonderful, LIGHT constant aperture telephoto zoom. A steal at 60 bucks.

Over where I work at we keep it flexible at around 400 photos for a full day's worth of coverage. Usually includes the couple's prep, the ceremony and the reception. The general rule of thumb I've been following is to provide the client the main timeline of moments with slight exceptions here and there.
Letting the client have photos to pick and choose from and having that feeling of a big album of memories is important, but it is not followed with strict discipline. It's up to what kind of deal you set up with the client and what expectations of content you set in place for them.

So a friend of mine just bought a new camera and he was so hyped that we had to take some photos, even if it was 10 PM.

My father saw that we tried to take long exposure photos, and because I don't have a tripod (My friend gave me a mini tripod yesterday to take those photos) he gave me my grandfather's tripod. Thing's old, but cool as hell.

I've thought about entering local ones even though I'm still a rookie, but it somewhat annoys me that in most contests (at least the ones I checked) the organization claims almost unrestricted usage of photos.

Same camera, same problem, I can see in this photo the same problem mine have, that distortion or unsharpness, I have been using AV mode, one shot AF and only center focus point to see if I can get rid of that problem and improved a bit

- I realized te joy of having more control of the shot, it adds an extra dimension to the shooting universe
- Sony cameras have a function named focus peaking, which highlights the perimeter of the focused elements, and i think it's a pretty nice and useful aid.

Whenever I tried manual focusing, the results were always slightly blurry. I could never manage to get the focus spot on like auto focus does. I know you can use the feature which zooms the picture in when manual focusing so you can fine tune it but that's a slow process.

I really like mine. It's small, not P&S small mind, very sturdy and incredibly well built. The image quality is fantastic either RAW or OOC. The hybrid viewfinder is very unique and gives the camera a very different feel. On the downside if you're not used to manual cameras the controls can take a while to get used to, plus the menu system is a little quirky adding to the learning curve. Also if you're used to zooms you'll need to adjust to zooming with your feet!
Great travel/take everywhere camera. You should be able to get a good price on the S now with the T coming out as well.
I'm used to shoot manual so no problem in that department. As for zoom, no problem either, my standard lens is a 40mm 2.8 stm. I should feel at home with that camera

Otherwise it's a nice juxtaposition with the two flat jumpers on the sides and the water splashing. But I think there's a bit too much empty space in the image making the interesting parts (the people) become a bit too subdued.
Been shooting some colour film lately and had to send the film to be processed (really need to buy a C41 kit...) so had nothing to do but edit some old Japan pictures

Been shooting some colour film lately and had to send the film to be processed (really need to buy a C41 kit...) so had nothing to do but edit some old Japan pictures
Yo Damaged, I came across some expired slide film (Velvia 100) at my local camera store. Just started it, I'm excited to see how the images come out.

I've got the Fuji X-E1 and all I can say is that Fuji is making awesome camera's with shockingly good image quality. They also have great ooc jpeg's that are hard to rival with post processing.
So yeah, I definitely can recommend Fuji.
Ooh awesome stuff man, have never tried it expired, that should be fantastic! There is something about the way slide film catches light. Plus the negatives (well transparencies) look amazing, I want to make a back-lit frame to mount my slides on in my living room at some point.
