GAF Steamgifts Group Invite Thread

Okay so one person who won is at least in the NeoGAF group, the other is not. I have sent Steam friend requests in order to confirm identity. Please respond. If you don't want to be my steam friend, confirm on here.

Edit: One has confirmed. Nice chap. The other fellow... Looking at this Steam profile, I assume he only recently got a gaming computer?
 
Yo, so the dude apparently logged in 2 hours ago and did not accept my friend request on steam. If there is no confirmation before I go to bed tonight I'm gonna assume the link somehow got leaked to non-gaffers and reroll for that one.
 
It would appear that this person registered on steamgifts solely to try and win the game, so he might not have expected to actually win. Nevertheless, he joined the giveaway 2 hours before it ended and then failed to show up the entire rest of the day and evening afterward.

Because of this, and because I can't figure out any information as to who he might be, I have requested a new winner for the second copy.

Edit: And the winner is.... XDDX! That was a quick turnaround. I thought SG was apparently slower than this?

It means there are 9 games in the bundle and 100 people will get the bundle.

It's a pretty shitty bundle, though.
 
Some tips for you guys that are pretty unlucky (or anyone really).

If you want higher chances at winning, you need to get into some steam giveaway groups which typically have drastically higher chances of winning. I'd say the best way to do this is to click on a contributor's name and look at how many games they've won. If it's a pretty high number then it's likely they are in some of those groups. Just click their "Gifts won" and sift through those looking for any group giveaways they won. When you find them and click on them it'll redirect you to a page saying you must be in "_____ group" to view this page, with a link to that steam group. Just click the link and see if the group is joinable. If not, try some more. If so, you just opened up a bunch more entries with much better odds!
 
I just won Rock of Ages...anyone have any idea what that is or any opinions on it? I entered it cause it was a group one but didn't know anything about it.
 
That is yet another sub-20:1 chance giveaway I lost. Good chances are bad luck, man.
 
Rock of Ages is fun. Great sense of humour and unique gameplay. (Think Tower Defense meets Marble Madness meets Monty Python cartoons.)

That's a lot of entries... I hope a bunch of people didn't lift it from my profile on SG and join the NeoGAF steam group just to enter. I'll make sure whoever wins can confirm in here (except robo13) or I'll reroll.

Edit: Okay, we have a winner. I don't recognize him, his steam id/aliases are nowhere on GAF as a poster or written in any post, we have no friends in common, only one of his friends are in the Neogaf group, and he has not logged into Steam or Steamgifts since winning.

Whoever this person is, I will need you to post in here to confirm you are a GAF poster. If you do not within a reasonable amount of time after it has shown you logged in to Steamgifts, I will assume you are unable to do so and reroll.

Edit 2: I requested a reroll and it hasn't come but the dude's account is suspended. BIG SURPRISE.
 
Okay, so after a second reroll, please "kooplar" for the love of science confirm that you actually post here.
 
I think you can get suspended if you don't gift what you say you're gifting, or not redeeming things you won. Or probably being an asshat in the comments/forums.
 
If this guy doesn't confirm after having been logged into SG and Steam I'm going to request the giveaway be deleted so I can redo as a completely private giveaway. This is fucking ridiculous.
