Allright so right now I'm just bored laying in bed after a surgery infection. So then I started thinking what is my game of the year so far. There have been amazing games like uncharted 4 and dark souls 3. Then there are surprising games like enter the gungeon and far cry primal. But one game stands above them all as my game of the year so far...

overwatch
Yes I'm counting this game even tho it doesn't release until about a week, but we have played the whole game already. I but about 30 hours into the beta so I think it's safe to have this opinion ;). Everything about overwatch I love, all the characters are so well designed and feel so differnet. Each games it a giant game of Rock Paper Scissors with you trying to find the best counter for the other team. I have never had so much fun In a multiplayer shooter since MW 2.

So gaf with the big releases of the first half of 2016 out what is your favorite game so far and why :)

The Witness is currently in the lead. I'm currently playing through Uncharted 4 and after its beta Overwatch is definitely on the list, so things could change but The Witness is my current choice.

Hope you're feeling better from your surgery!

I'm surprised how much I'm enjoying TPHD despite it being one of my less favorite Zeldas. I think it still is but I'm really enjoying it a ton, the world is very fun to explore especially when you have a lot of items unlocked, and the dungeons themselves are exceptionally clever, unique and well-conceived.

If remasters don't count, though, I'll choose Paper Jam. I'm probably halfway or less through the game but it oozes charm and creativity from every pixel, the battles are super fun and creative, and the world is engaging and delightful.

Dark Souls 3 or Doom for me.

The former because it's fucking Dark Souls, the latter because it's the closest thing to Metroid Prime this gen

Uncharted 4. There's really no competition right now for me since U4 hit all the right notes.

The Witness was a big contender when it was out but honestly it became less interesting to me as I completed it and didn't really resonate much.

Looking forward to No Man's Sky, which will probably be another big contender releasing soon.

The best games I've played this year are games that came out before this year, so it's a little tough for me.

I guess I'll have to go with Stardew Valley. I put so much time into that and loved every second. The amount of charm that just gushes out of it is astounding. It's so relaxing and peaceful too, which made it perfect for chilling after long days at work.

Runner up award goes to Darkest Dungeon, which I never managed to beat but still thoroughly enjoyed.

Uncharted 4 currently, but I still need to beat Dark Souls 3. Currently about halfway through, but they're pretty close in my mind.

1- Uncharted 4
2- The Witness
3- Dark Souls III

We'll see what comes later on but I don't see Uncharted 4 being surpassed this year.

Only new game I have played this year so far is U4.

too early to say anything.

Uncharted

but I don't see it sticking in my ballot.

Even The Witcher's DLC will make my opinion on Uncharted fade

Hatsune Miku: Project Diva X. It would've been Trails in the Sky SC but that came out last year... meh.
Then Dark Souls III.
Then Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen.

Uncharted 4 most polished game I've played since the last of us lol.

I'm hoping that Mirror's Edge Catalyst jumps up on that list though tbh.

The Witness, Dark Souls 3, and Uncharted 4 are all so amazing.

But they're nothing compared to
Pocket Card Jockey.
