Games advertised with +60fps but released without it

Arkham Knight PC had Nvidia trailers showing the game running at 60 using Nvidia only effects (smoke, debris) when the PC launch was really busted and wouldn't realistically run at 60fps with those effects even on high-end hardware. It's possible now, but at the time ...

IIRC people found out that those 60fps nvidia trailers were actually rendered in slow motion then sped up using editing to be 60fps captures, and if you listen closely all the audio in them was distorted because of this. Meaning even they couldn't get 60fps and had to resort to tricks to make it appear 60fps for their trailers, knowing it would be an impossible target for any people who get the game.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't #ActionMode in Nioh supposed to run 60FPS? Cuz it as hell runs sub-30 a decent amount of the time with a terrible resolution.

All the pre-release videos of Micro Machines World Tour were the 60fps PC version because they couldn't get the console release to 60.

All of them?

This was in reference to indies, not AAA. Shahid was the indie big cheese at Sony.

Context is everything.

Warriors Orochi 3 Ultimate for Xbox One advertises "up to 60 FPS" on the back of the case.

The only time the damn game hits 60 fps is on the menus, and even that's inconsistent.

I mean... it's a platformer, 60 FPS is kinda expected nowadays, can you imagine the shitstorm that would happen if a Mario 64 remake wasn't 60 FPS after all of them since galaxy have been? rightfully so too.
That would be downgrading a 60fps game to 30fps. Something Nintendo already does via DKCR 3DS.

Crash was always 30fps, so no it would not be like that. nt tho

Lately warmastered version on WiiU, literally says 60fps in the back cover, actual game play is 20-30fps....
