Games on tv now?

They started this shit. I'm curious to see some WoW coverage. :lol

EDIT: Oh god, this is so bad. Worse than I expected.
 
Oh god, the WoW matches are about to begin. This is either going to be the greatest thing ever, or the most embarrassing. :lol
 
This has to be the funniest thing I've ever seen. Anyone who stumbled across this has had their belief that videogames are just for supernerds with no real life has only had their belief affirmed in an extremely comical manner.

Some of the games actually translated pretty well to this format (Fight Night, Guitar Hero II), but yeah the WoW stuff was painful to watch. I've played WoW in the past and it was hard for me to follow, so I can't imagine what the average Joe or Jane would get out of this.

And geez, could those Pandemic t-shirts be any more gaudy?

I've played WoW for years and this was still hard to follow. The commentary wasn't even close to the onscreen action. One of the teams looked like a veteran lineup while the other looked like they were cobbled together the night before. Only once did I see them team up to focus fire someone down, and insisting on the felhunter in all three matches was bad play I think.
 
Extreme guitar playing. I hope this dope on the right loses. I've seen better players on YouTube.

I honestly can't tell if Guitar Hero or WoW is more embarassing to watch.

+1 for slamming his guitar on the ground.
 
Was the guy on the left also in the WoW final or is Team Pandemic some sort of multi-game sponsorship?

I'm sorry, I find it pretty hard to believe that the participants of a WoW tourney are not supernerds... Yes, it may be theoretically possible to maintain a real life and play WoW at that level, but, in practice... well, some of them probably still have real jobs and may not live with their parents.

I used to know a guy who was top 10 in the country in Q3 for a while, and played on several Halo teams that were winning tournaments with prize packages $10k+. He quit games for a while, and frankly it was probably the best decision he ever made. He lost 30 pounds, started making money with his computer skills, and moved out of his mom's basement. He could still demolish us in just about any FPS game a couple years later.

I don't disagree with you. Still, most of those guys looked like they were in decent shape and were even a little bit tanned. I was impressed. I was talking more about the announcers truthfully. The gamers looked like nerds, yeah, but the introduction to WoW classes made me cringe and be ashamed to play the same game.
