Games that made you go "Nope" in less than a minute

Got a PS4 and PS+ for a while now
PS+ gives you games for free, but I play them for less than a minute before deleting them
sometimes.

ollie skateboard game
Guacomolee (some luchador game)

What in the actual fuck. Those are some of the best indie games ever.

My record had to be ollie skateboard game ( I am not even sure if it's the real name of that game)
as soon as this tutorial came up and failed the first action, I was like "Nope" bye.

Ah, you're "that" kind of gamer.

PROJECTOE CROSSEZAN only took about 30 minutes to reveal its nature as a pile of steaming fanservice with some truly halfassed 'gameplay' tacked on. Worst game Ive bought in the last 10 years. What a piece of shit that game was. Can't believe it's got a fanbase.

BTW OP you fucked up good

Super Robot Wars games never get localized but that reaaaaally bad Super Robot Wars game starring Morrigan's tits gets a fucking sequel.

90% of all PS Plus games since the PS4 release.

And DriveClub. God how I have tried to love that game (yeah, maybe I played more than a minute the first tries), on several occasions. I just can't fathom that the devs of Motorstorm could release a game so deprived of fun.

Concept of this thread is weak, so I'm gonna say Dead Space 2. But that wasn't "Nope, bye" that was "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOPPPPPEEEEEEEEEEE THIS GAME IS FUCKING AWESOME"

Most recently it was Super Exploding Zoo but I gave it about 20 minutes. My problem with it was less with how the game played but the technical problems on the vita. My save got corrupted and haven't got round to playing it since.

A minute is far too little to spend on a game before quitting. If I buy a game or even get one for free I'm not going to stop playing based on the first minute.

Satisfied to see that this thread has properly backfired. Jesus Christ.

I've never judged a game by its first minute. I give it at least half an hour, even when I'm terribly skeptical. Doki Doki Universe was the last one I gave up on. It's just not for me.

How you quit a game within a minute? In most games, it'll take anywhere from 5-15 seconds of logo splash screens & copyright liner notes, then about 5 seconds to choose a mode from the start screen, then you have to wait anywhere from 5-30 seconds for the game to load. So, at the very least, you're gonna waste about 30 seconds before you get into the actual game.

What's wrong with you, OP?

GTAV. The writing drove me insane.

The writing drove you insane 1 minute into the game? The writing in the tutorial mission irritated you?

... Have you actually played the game?

.

Where is this from?

I fucking hate this generation of people with short-attention span that you need to convince in like the first 10 seconds or you're fucked. SMH

I have this problem with demos. I download a demo. I start to play it. I'm forced to play some stupid tutorial. "Press X to Jump". Then I just quit the demo and delete it. I just want to try out the game, I don't have time for forced handholding. I can figure out what the buttons do on my own thank you.

I had to stop BioShock after about 5 minutes because it makes me motion sick... sucks, because I know I would really like the game otherwise.

Also, Eve online is something I really want to try and get into, but after 4 or 5 attempts, I realize it would just take up too much of my time to learn.

I fucking hate these kinds of posts that generalise with no idea what they're really talking about.

I started up Hitman Codename 47 last night and the odd way the game handles it's resolution plus the very odd PC controls made me think about skipping to Hitman 2.

Did you at least get to the part where Agent 47 says "I need to use the bathroom." Shit always makes me crack up.

Oli Oli 2 was probably the only game I've done this with, but it was mostly because I didn't want to destroy my DS4. I'll probably play it on the VITA soon.

PlanetSide 2 on PS4. 10-15fps in a major fight, killed from every side.

No.

I messed around for about an hour and decided it just wasn't for me. I know people like it as a free FPS MMO, but it didn't grab me at all in any major way, felt sluggish all over, and the gunplay was subpar.

Oh another one... that Dust 514 Eve game on PS3. I think I played it for about 30 seconds once I finally got into a game.

Guacamelee and OlliOlli are amazing, OP.

Never delete games within a minute of gameplay, seriously.

I think it's easy to delete games right away when you know they are still there in your PS+ account.

Sometimes the Aesthetics get you man, I honestly don't think I see myself playing those games ever again tho but who knows.

Alice: Madness Returns.

I fought one of the very first enemy, my computer was brought down to it's knees and when said enemy exploded into this strange goo i reached the magical land of sub 10 fps.

It then said to myself "Nope" and planned to play it for real when i'd finally build a new computer.

You wouldn't say that if you actually tried Scarlet Blade, i actually regret not following my instinct and stop it during the installation.

Snake eater, the first release with the terrible camera. Gave up after a few mind crawling to the grass not seeing anything.

Wet.

Hated the combat system from about the moment I got into it. Stuck with it through the majority of the tutorial. Stopped playing and returned it.

For me, it was the controls. They were so loose and flimsy that I couldn't enjoy the game even when I wanted to. I played it for about an hour and never touched it again.
