This is not a Nintendo Switch thread30 fps ...da fuq is going on here....
What's next? 868p 539p 688p are good because they are soft and don't strain my eye site and increase longevity of my eyes?
Becasue movies are so fun to play.Driveclub 30fps made it seem movie like.
If it's stable, it's just few hours to get used to.30fps is horrible if you've gotten the taste of prolonged 60fps gameplay. 30fps only feels good if that's all you know.

A cheat/hint. Lock a game to 15 fps with rtss and play for few minutes. Then lock to 30fps and it will feel amazing
But if You do other way around from 60 to 30, the 30 will feel terrible. It's all about perception and getting used to it.
The controls help too. Controller is better for 30fps because mouse is very sensitive and it's easier to feel You are playing 30fps.
And motion blur. (good motion blur) helps a lot.
I went from 240hz to 60hz 4k and it was not a big deal after few hours.
haha it will break Your brain. You can do 20 too. It does not have to be 30.Haha you're right, I never thought about the 15 to 30fps trick! I should definitely try it sometime.
this is a big thingI'd much rather play a game with a solid 30fps than one that aims for 60 but continually drops below it.
Wait Spiderman wasnt 60 FPS? I honestly thought it wasSpider-Man and God of War PS4.
Not really. Only so much motion blur can help tbh. Combat in Horizon will benefit from 60fps+ so muchSpiderman and horizon zero dawn are very fluid.

Are you mad?
No, it just makes it harder to see how shit it is.Only a CRT makes 30fps tolerable, nothing else.
not saying that 60 isn't better obviously, but these 2 are the games that personally feel very fluid even at 30 fps, and i hate playing at 30 fps, i have a pc for the remaining 99% of non-exclusive games. Not really. It used per object motion blur.I realised that too. Sony loves using motion blur to make their games smoother for example. I can also imagine that UE5 demo also used motion blur.
Maybe he was playing with TV motion interpolation that makes 30 fps look more like 60 fps?Are you mad?
Maybe it's because I don't give a damn about multiplayer but I've never understood the seething hatred for 30 FPS.
The games play just fine. Unless you're a hardcore competitive "oh God! I need a 144Hz display for this to be playable" gamer, 30 is fine.

Quality gameplay is the one thing gamers ask for.
Yeah, also saw a few jokers here saying that sub hd makes them lose interest in a game.Sadly, that doesn't seem to be the case.
Some weirdos like a 'story'. They then get the worst of both worlds - crappy gameplay and a crappy book.
The motion blur is quite good in spyro ( can't remember if crash has it) masks the judder pretty well for the most part.Crash remakes feel good, because you're kinda used to that frame rate. Makes it more nostalgic even. Same with Spyro.
Star Fox, Snes.
Every time I play I think it would be sweet if I could play it with 30fps at least. You know... put things in perspective.
hence my point ! It was NOT worth losing the the cinematic feel of the 30fps for a slightly higher albeit fake fpsI don't see how that's possible because "motion flow technology" adds a ton of latency. It should feel absolutely terrible.
The FEEL of 100ms input lagKillzone 2.
Along with that input lag. Weird controls, but getting used to them was fun. Never played a game that felt like that since.

Dead Space on PS3, it was 30 FPS but very solid and felt nice.
Hell yes. Game was a real treat on the Wii U, hope it comes to switchXenoblade Chronicles X had very stable 30 fps and good per object motion blur.
