Yeah. I need to grab the resogun update. What consoles do you own? Resogun just added a really nifty ship builder.
But it's a really shallow game apart from the building possibilities. Like... really really shallow.
The previous update, .23 added the Asteroid Redirect Missions (ARM) which were created with the help of NASA. In addition to being able to now track and intercept asteroids,
several new extra-large rocket parts, modeled after NASAÂ’s new SLS rocket systems, were added. You can build bigger than ever!
Whether you want to build your space program from the ground up in Career Mode, or push your computer's CPU to its limit with 800 part ships in Sandbox mode,
KSP offers endless possibilities. Everything from sky-cranes big enough to land aircraft carriers on Laythe, to zero-G basketball courts, to space ship launching catapults have been built in KSP.
If you can dream it, you can build it and (attempt to) fly it.
This game was a big surprise.Amazing Island. You build monsters you then play as.

I actually got in on the early access for this. It was rough a while back. I should grab a newer version.Probably not what you're looking for, but here's an outside-the-box suggestion:
The Incredible Machine.
Space Engineers. Built space stations, big ass spaceships, mining vessels etc. Form factions and fight each other. Basically Minecraft with spaceships.
Terraria is an obvious one.
Its like a 2D Minecraft, but a bit more combat/gamey focused.
Just to make sure we're on the same page, I'm referring to this:I actually got in on the early access for this. It was rough a while back. I should grab a newer version.
Does building relationships count?I'm a big fan of games where you build things. Examples:
-Minecraft
-LBP
-Bridge Builder
-Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts
I'm trying to find some other games to sink my teeth in. Any ideas?
Great recommendation.SpaceChem, SpaceChem, SpaceChem.
I love the fact that it's a puzzle game that doesn't feel like it has set 'solutions' but instead lets you loose with your creativity to try to achieve the given goal. And as a result of it, you're *proud* of what you've created
My baby. My ugly ugly - yet beautifully functional - baby.
