Games with FAT main characters?

Coming from the mute or chatty-topic, this came to my mind: Have there ever been video games that featured you playing a fat guy - and not just a little bigger than average belly, but FAT - that is NOT a comedic kind of game? A game with a serious, epic story, and you´re an obese fat-guy.
Was that ever covered, or dont deserve fat guys non-comedy appearances?

You can make C.J. pretty fat in GTA San Andreas.

yeah, but default CJ is really skinny. There's the fat Drake thing in Uncharted too, but it's not the default character.

Edit - this topic makes me want a game where you play as Willam from Mallrats.

at the end, you finally get to see the sailboat.

No one wants to play a fat character ! You should know that white - 20s-30s - dark hair / bald - ill-shaven - male characters is the only hero you want to play in a videogame (with or without dark brown-grey-green armor).

Here you go. Earthquake was fat and bald, so it was a double-whammy of affirmative action for middle-aged male videogame fans.

Edit - just re-read the OP. "Serious, epic story." Hmm. Possibly not what you were looking for.

That game was totally awesome and all, but it hardly fits the description in the OP.

A game with a serious, epic story, and you´re an obese fat-guy.

I think Wario's closest.

I was tearing my hair out for not thinking of Mario or Wario because their fat is incidental rather than character defining...But the epic story criteria kills it.

Was the protagonist of Condemned 1 fat? I can't remember, but I think he was chunky at the very least.

Left 4 Dead 2 has a fat guy. He's also black, so you get a black main and a fat main at once.

Valve fights against prejudices!

The Mario RPGs have some pretty epic stories, but I haven't played any Wario games with big stories.

I'm really struggling to think of any more. Frank West is carrying a few extra pounds, but definitely doesn't fall into the obese category. The kid from Bully (name escapes me at the moment) is pretty chunky too, but not really a fatty.

He's not fat! Coach may have a voluptuous tummy but that guy is stacked.

I honestly haven't played any of the games to know if it's used in a comedic manner, but Torneko from the Dragon Quest series is pretty portly.

ctrl+f Max Payne. :OO

edit: guess he's not fat fat but still a nasty beer belly.

edit2: disregard completely. Max Payne 3 is dead to me.

ah, i just remembered a single one:

Maximilian Roivas from Eternal Darkness. That was really well done. He was slow, ran out of fatigue quickly and was fatter than just a bit.

I really think there should be some serious games featuring fat guys, afterall, millions of people are fat, even more considered overweight. Especially in the US, that has a strong developer scene. I´d love to see such characters, that come with all their weaknesses (no fast, permanent running around for example).

Any other examples like the above?

Excluding real-life fat guys in strategy games, how about Eddie Riggs? He's husky and muscular, but still fat, right?

one of the Heavy Rain leads? the old cop guy?

haven't really seen him properly.

Most games with epic storylines have a soldier of some sort as the main protagonist. Let's face it, fat people don't make the best soldiers. They certainly couldn't handle all the running around in RPGs.

How about the Torneko games? I mean, it's not super-serious or anything, but it's not played as comedy either.

Torneko is seriously one of the most respectable video game characters ever created.
