Games you wish had DLC

Assassin's Creed
NINTENDO LAND. I rather loved the idea here, and I would have loved to see even more games remade / referenced in this style like a catch-all remaster of classic games for modern times.
Guardian Heroes. I'd wish it to have DLC characters until it looked like a character select screenshot of Everything VS Everything.
Pretty much any KOF/SamSho/Fatal Fury. If you're not going to make a flat out new one SNKP, just give me a new team every 3 months ~ Year.
Tetris Attack: Again, if you're not going to give me a new one, just keep adding to the old game! There's so few good competitive puzzle games with personality and liveliness anymore (Everything is just gems and near lifeless screens), I wish these games still grew.
Dragon's Crown: I'd have loved to see Princess Gradriel from Princess Crown make it into the game. Or an Odin's Sphere character. And a few throwback campaigns to their games.
Double Dragon Neon: WHERE'S MY MARIAN!?! They even had concept art of her as a secret character, but Nooooo.... And the Gender-flipped Billy and Jimmy too!
Basically, I wish DLC could make games like Bomberman, Guardian Heroes, Steeets of Rage, and other games that aren't the type that get full retail releases anymore, into single-release, updated-occasionally-all-gen style games. There's so few things out there that give the same feeling as playing something like, say, Bust-A-Move/Puzzle Bobble, and Bust-A-Move/Groove. I'd love to see companies go back to their old titles, and release them with new, ever-growing content.

More colossi would be wonderful. A part of me is glad that there is no DLC. I feel the game is more pure that way. That the developer did everything they wanted with the game from the start. Maybe, I've become conditioned to see DLC as a negative with how any publishers handle it poorly.

Come on Rockstar what are u doing. U have one of if not the best games of last generation and now it's ported to next and u don't release single player dlc. Ecspessialy because it is the best selling game of last gen.
Now I'm going to calm my salt for a sec and think about the possibilityes they have. Rockstar always go a little far out on there dlc and that's why I love there dlc. So they can do a full on alien adduction and just make it the coolest dlc ever. Now why aren't they doing this, clearly they love aliens in gta 5. Hopefully they are working on the dlc right now and if there not they better be working on red dead redemption 2.

They are likely doing something but it would be big like the expansions for GTA IV, give it some time.

Pokemon because postgame is super bare so you're main option is to just replay the game. I don't mind that sort of thing but some postgame would help. Generations because there was so many more great stages they could have remade...

Yeeeep.. Rockstar is taking their slow ass time with this one. Can't believe it will already be 2 years in about 3 weeks since it released on PS3/360.

Such a great game, with interesting maps. It really, really needed more. Too bad it got caught in the moronic crossfire of people hating on it because it was multiplayer-only and because it wasn't a RPG.
Extra painfull because it looks like it will be on BC.

Already been said but Sonic Generations and Bayonetta 2. Both of them are great games that left me wanting for more. Mario 3D World is something I'd like to see more of too. Originally I'd have just asked for more Capitan Todd levels but we ended up getting a whole game of that.
Not necessarily adhering to the OP but I'd actually like to see more DLC for Mario Kart 8. It already got two packs but I'd love to see it get something for battle mode with more characters and vehicles.

I wished Tomb Raider 2013 had Story DLC with Lara on a new adventure like 4-6 hours long maybe.

Rather than DLC expansion, I'd want a "patch" for Castlevania: Symphony of the Night ala Dragon's Crown that can add these things:
- repeatable New Game+
- increase level cap to 999 or 9999, and scale enemy levels on each new game
- no loot/no exp mode with enemy difficulty tuned to retaining Alucard gear by default
- additional layer of hardcore, one-life mode
- playable Maria without the other garish Saturn content or PSP changes, but perhaps toggle VO options to make everyone happy

Hard reset, it would be nice to have a final for that story, and i liked the game so some more shooting and running and jumping would be welcomed, and some more levels for bulletstorm would be nice too, not gonna happen i know, but a man can dream, no?

Came into the thread to say this. The potential of that game to be the ultimate love letter to the good memories of the Sonic series was huge.
As long as none of them were as bad as that game's Planet Wisp, anyway.

I'm coming up with a blank as well. I don't know which game I was happy to see DLC for even. I like patches and updates that add features and characters though, so I suppose that could count, but not small things to pay for.
I like expansions however. FFXI expansions is one that I bought.

I dislike how they're both different, despite being in the same generation. There are Mega-Evolutions tied to each game and some that you can only use in ORAS, making XY effectively be a game that's not fully compatible with another game in the same generation.
Post game in both games is barebones and they both are going to be mostly obsolete when a third version/sequel comes, making XY a kind of "paid beta test" and ORAS just a little better than that.
I'm not saying to make every game upgradeable to the net generation, but make all the games withing the same generation fully compatible with each other!

You know what major feature is missing from the RuSa remakes? A feature that would be very well suited for DLC?

This came to mind. lolhorsearmor aside Oblivian had one of the best examples of DLC of all time in Shivering Isles. Even FO3 and NV had 4-5 sizable chunks added to them. Skyrim's DLC just felt like it ended early.
GTAV needs some DLC too. It's been quite a while and GTA online does absolutely nothing for me.
