Games you wish had DLC

I've always toyed with the idea of additional in-game music and sound effects being DLC.

What if you can play FFVI or Ocarina of Time with orchestrated music? How much of The Last of Us experience will be different if the in-game music is changed to piano-covers of (the excellent) Gustavo Santaolalla's guitar pieces?
How much money would you pay for a David Hayter VO for GZ and TPP? Or even change Peter Dinklage's voice in Destiny into Cortana or Siri or even GLaDOS complete with new and various insulting side comments on how pathetic you are at the game.

It wont change the gameplay, but it can change the experience- audible hats?

Demon's Souls for sure. Somehow part of me thinks that the mystery archstone will still open one day, in a new game perhaps.

MGS4 story. Holy fuck I would've paid 60 again for hundreds of VR missions and the option to use the hero characters from online in single player.

LOL I thought I was going to be the one that brought up Sonic Generations, but it's probably the most mentioned game in the thread. The crazy thing is that all the other Sonic games were getting DLC, but this was just dropped like a hot potato right after launch. Generations had the potential to be its own trilogy, it makes you wonder how it sold.

Remember Me.

Such a fantastic, atmospheric world that I can't get enough of.

Man, if Dontnod made DLC that made the combat flow more like Batman, Remember Me really could have taken off. I still really liked the game.

Of course, also I'm in the camp who would have loved an RPG with a mixture of weapons and melee in the setting. Something like Deus Ex.

No DLC for Sonic Generations hurts the most. I was convinced we'd get SOMETHING if only one extra stage here or there but NOPE. Sega's all like, you'll get your Casino Night "stage" and you'll like it.

Yeah, The Order. The fact that the devs just sort of threw up their hands and said "Welp!" the minute they realized they'd have to take it on the chin and accept criticism...just makes the game feel like an even bigger "fuck you".

I liked what they were going for...I just think they lost site of what industry they were working in along the way. It feels like The Order was driven by ego as well as ambition. Like "We're better than video games."

And it's a shame because Ready at Dawn is a talented studio and is responsible for the best GoW game (Ghost of Sparta).

I feel like The Order could have been far better had it been given more time to cook, along with some substantial story DLC.

Fable would be perfect to expand with new quests and storylines per DLC. But no, they rather make some costumes and be done with it.

need GTA V single player DLC. i appreciate the title updates which have given us new cars/weapons and that but it's mainly focused on GTA Online which I'm really not interested in.

Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze - More worlds.
Came for this.

No need to have them build a new game, just make more worlds.

Same with Super Mario 3D World

Also Wind Waker HD, it's perfect opprtunity for Nintendo to experiment on Zelda dlc. Maybe add a couple of bigger islands and some mini quests that lead you to a big dungeon.
