Links Awakening - fun little game but sold it as soon as I finished. i doubt i'll ever want to play it again.
Detroit: Become Human - really enjoyed it but i guess i made a load of bad decisions since Markus + Kara died. Connor I never really liked but he lived. Probably if i followed a guide to get a good ending it'd be better but that'd ruin the fun of making my own choices.

Dropped Metal Gear Solid V - the whole mother base thing seemed interesting but didn't end up being as good as i hoped. the missions themselves were the same.... good idea but they were too easily beaten and the AI is dumb as hell. the only one i actually enjoyed was the one where you first meet Quiet. i couldn't bring myself to keep playing it. also didn't help i had no idea WTF was happening story wise.

now playing Dead Cells and gonna start Astral Chain.

Finally finished shadow LOTR - shadow of war, nice game a but repetitive.

Megaman 10, hard game almost went bald

Dropped, LA NOIRE, got bored vert fast.

And hopefully will start playing death stranding when it comes out

GR: Breakpoint, MHW (HR 100 reached) Borderlands 3 and Outer Worlds finished.

Aiming to play some Indies for a bit, maybe run through Pathfinder: Kingmaker again.

Completed:
Metro Exodus. Overall a really solid experience. Really liked the Volga and Caspian areas. The Taiga was beautiful but definitely pushing the player on a focused path. And the last section had some moments of enjoyment but overall sucked.
Keeping it installed on my pc as I'm curious about the 2nd DLC thats supposed to come out early next year.

Beaten: Mass Effect 2
Gave up on: Mass Effect 3 and Outer Worlds
In Progress: Disco Elysium and Fallout New Vegas

Beaten: Deus Ex Mankind Divided.

I actually started this in Oct of 2018 according to my save file, then after a year, I loaded it back up. After another 35 or so hours (57 total), its completed.
And while there's new game plus, breach mode and DLC available, I think I'll be moving on to something else.

Beaten: Spyro 1 & 2, Nier: Automata and Halo 3

Dropped: Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair. Beat every level except the last one, because it's just way too long and annoying.

First time seeing this Thread. This will be fun. Let see...

Beaten:

33 - A strange flash game on Newgrounds. It was good for its short time.
August 25th 2017 - Umm...I get it, but I...you know what, just play the game yourself on Newgrounds.
be you - A ok small game choosing how you would do, I guess. On Steam free.
Between the Lines - A dating Sim. Played its Kickstarter demo. It was funny cause made fun to be unfinished.
Boa Retina - Very interesting personal game of the Dev.
Crusader: No Remorse - GREAT game if you get used its old controls [only keyboard]. I did and I had so much fun!!!
Dissolving - Nice experimenting VN. It is free on Steam, so give it a go.
Gibbous: A Cthulhu Adventure - Very satisfying point n' click adventure. Rush ending, but I want to play a sequel.
HORSE - Found it on Steam. WTF was this game about?!?!?!?
I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger Lickin' Good Dating Simulator - Yep, I played it. It is good for a free VN.
I'm a Vet - You are a vet and you help weird pets. Very nice. Search it on itchio.
Lust for Darkness - It was good for what was it. I hope its new sequel to much better than this one.
N-01: Nowhere - Sadly only a demo cause I think it will never get finished.
Nothing to Say - A very interesting unique small game made for Ludum Dare 45.
Pilgrims - A new game from Amanita Design. It was ok for a small simple game.
Plunge - An awesome Puzzle/Roguelike game. I highly recommended it.
stikir - REALLY weird game about a Dev. It was good.
Toonstruck - Nice unique crazy czrtoon adventure game. The ending was rushed again, but I enjoyed it as a whole.
Under What? - Literally you can finish it in few minutes. It was weird.
Unsettling events in the depths of hell - This was a nice little surprise. I suggest to play the game completely blind.
utsvulten - Weeeeeeeeeiiiiddddddd.......

Dropped:

Driven Out - Sadly my poor reflexes shows with this game...
Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom - I didn't expected to get frustrated with this game, but I did sadly.
Purrfect Date - Got it from Humble Montly. Was curious, played, well, tried to play and I gave up.
Remote Life - Very hard for my taste, however I can see clearly the effort and love this game got from its Devs.
Shady Knight - Was available in Humble Montly. A shitty bug prevented me to finish it.
Timothy and the Mysterious Forest - Unnecessary frustating.
Triggore - Beautiful pixel art horror shooter game, but get difficult very quickly.
WHAT THE GOLF? - I was near the end, but I got bored.
Virtual Pets - Couldn't find a specific solution. Got bored. I didn't finished. Find it on itchio.
Zermatt: Zero - From the devs of VA-11 HALL-A. Interesting, but not so enjoyable.

I just finished Divinity Original Sin 2 on Switch. I'm torn on the game. I loved aspects of it, but the battles were infuriatingly slow that, I was desperate for the game to end.

Later battles I found that 80% of the time I spent in battles, which can last over 30 minutes each, was just staring at the screen waiting for the enemy's turn to finish. Often they will just stand there doing absolutely nothing for 15 seconds before taking a turn. That with the slow animations and the large number of enemies really tried my patience.

What's worse is I often found myself in fights I wasn't leveled for, but only realized I wasnt going to win after being twenty minutes into the battle. Then, the process of loading my last save takes entirely too long as well.

Beaten: Ghost Recon: Breakpoint, Doom 3 [Switch], Medievil, Assassin's Creed: Odyssey (finally could finish that one after a bug was patched out)

Dropped: Octopath Traveller (tried to get into it sooo many times, still failed), Dragon Quest XI S

I dropped Borderlands 3 this month.

I beat it in September.

But despite having bought the $100 edition, and thus the first 4 major DLC Packs along with the little ones in between, I shan't be going back to it.

I truly, TRULY, despise the direction that Gearbox has chosen to take it in, after release.

The constant nerfs - to both items AND their drip rates, as well as to characters themselves, coupled with absolutely zero fixes to the core gameplay engine failings, would be bad enough.

But then they doubled down, and said that they'd be adding a new difficulty level with items exclusive to it, that "casuals" will never get to acquire for themselves.

And now they have revealed that the DLCs shall be comprised of Raid Bosse sc that shall not be solvable.

Which means they've fucked over the solo players fullstop.

The release copy is 100% Bait and Switch, and they ought to be sued into monetary bankruptcy to match their ethical bankruptcy.

Games Beaten:

What Remains of Edith Finch

Nothing dropped as I've been on holiday and didn't play anything else

Beaten:

COD MW

Dropped:

The Surge 2 - Too janky for me to put up with the sudden difficulty spikes.

Outer Worlds - Gameplay is awful. Not feeling the story or world.

I tried to do a marathon of survival horror games. Ended up beating Dead Space (360) and Kuon (PS2). I got a little ways into Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Director's Cut on Xbox, but I was burnt out on horror games by then. So I put it away after three hours. I'd rate Dead Space a 6/10, Kuon a 7/10. Fatal Frame II seemed really promising, perhaps I'll beat it next year.

Beaten:
Control (platinum) - 8/10 - I would've given it a 9 if the main character wasn't made fugly on purpose and if it still didn't have enormous performance issues on the PS4.
Far Cry 3: Classic Edition (platinum) - 4/10 - Unfortunately the game has aged horribly. Climbing the towers is an incredible chore, many missions have forced stealth sections or other issues. Also the PS4 version still suffers from performance drops, presumably because the original was never fully fixed and ran on a crappy engine.
Chaos on Deponia (platinum) - 7/10 - Cool oldschool adventure game, first one was better and I really disliked one of the puzzles.
The Council (platinum) - 7/10 - One of the better episodic adventure games out there, I like the added RPG bits. Some puzzles are too weird though and later episodes aren't so complex. I enjoyed the main twist.
Assassin's Creed Rogue Remastered - 6/10 - I've only beaten the main story, I'll probably play some more, but going for the platinum is definitely out of the question I bought it because I loved sailing the seas in AC4 and it's still great here.
Wreckfest (platinum) - 8/10 - Not exactly a game you can beat, but I guess earning a platinum counts. ;) Awesome vehicle destruction, I've been missing a game like this since the last proper Flatout came out. Sadly the game has performance problems on the PS4 on ovals, figure 8 tracks and when doing 24 car races. Hopefully the new patch will improve some of these issues.

Thank you for remind me I need to finish the other 3 Deponia games I said I will play in the future.....after I finish like 100 other games first of course....

Beaten:
The Surge 2: 7.8/10 - a better game than the first with fantastic combat and level design but with ugly visuals due to bugs and poor artistic design. Story was ok, wish they kept the whole ambiguity from the first game in the second as well.
Code Vein: 7.5/10 - interesting take on the souls formula, good souls combat based on a skill system, with some nice anime tits here and there, a generic friendship is power anime story and amazing soundtrack.
Disco Elysium: 8.6/10 - one of the best detective games ever made with a really great dice-roll/skill based dialogue system where choices truly matter for the whole experience and not just some different endings. Too bad about the weak voice acting but nothing is perfect.

Dropped:
Dead Cells: not a bad game but I personally do not like rogue-likes since I prefer a bigger sense of progression than what the game offers. I will probably return to it.

Beaten
Assassin's creed odyssey, first blade dlc

Dropped
Sims 4, it gets boring pretty quick
Far cry 4, fighting for the wrong side annoyed me. Plus your dad was a piece of shit
Assassin's creed origins, Bayek is weak as fuck and dull compared to kassandra
Monster hunter world, way too grindy and same-y
Vampyr, not the murder fest I had hoped for
We were here, didn't know it was forced Co op
River bond, repetitive button mashing

Beat Astral Chain: It's both one of the best and worst games of the year. When it's good, it's really good. When it's bad, then WTF is this garbage?

Dropped Outer Worlds: Was far too easy on normal to the point of boredom, the worlds are too small for any actual exploration to occur, the game can't decide if it wants to be serious or a comedy and just splits the difference in the worst way, and I didn't really find any of the companions interesting,

I have been playing through Doom 2016 for like two months now... Like a couple of minutes a day (sometimes 1hour), I should finish it within a week or two! (Level 12).

Im not bad, I just have kids and I need to rest somehow.

Beaten: Skyrim. Miraak was the toughest out of the main three baddies. Fantastic RPG, thanks Todd for porting it to the Switch.

Dropped: Wonder Boy The Dragon's Trap. Just need to beat last boss but grinding up enough potions to try again feels too much like a hassle so not coming back to it anytime soon.
