So GAF, last week I picked up a Wii U, and have been going through a sizable backlog of Wii games I missed. Some of the games included the resident evil ports that made it onto the Wii. I didn't own a GameCube, so I missed out. I was more interested in playing REmake than Zero, but in my local Gamestop I could only find Zero. I bought it anyway, because I'd still been looking forward to playing it. Today I finally got a chance to play the game. Resident Evil Zero was not in the box. It was REmake. I'm pretty fucking hyped, and happy I didn't place an order for it on amazon last Wednesday.
So GAF, this ever happen to you? As in getting the wrong game in the box, and maybe coming out on top because of it? This isn't the first time this gamestop has given me the wrong game, but last time it was Lost Planet 2 instead of Left 4 Dead 2.
On a side note, can REmake run in widescreen mode on the Wii U? The system menu is in widescreen, but every game I've played has been 4:3. Just wondering.
TL;DR: Gamestop was retarded, gave me a better game than the one I payed for.
