Does GameStop sell digital codes for PS4 games or anything like that? I'd like to take advantage of this, but I want the digital version.

Going by some of the responses here i'm guessing the deal hasn't taken effect in some locations. I would call before heading out just to make sure.

They actually just called to inform me my Pre-order would be available Tuesday and I asked them. They pretty much responded the same as you. Also confirmed my local EB was accepting the deal here in Canada.
Pretty sure all you can get is a PSN code, not a specific game. If you want to take advantage of this deal you will have to get the physical copy.

In that case, I'm taking my PS3 copy to my local Gamestop tomorrow to trade it in and pre-order the remastered version.
Ok I just got back from my local Gamestop. They of course had no idea what I was talking about but I did have the picture of the promotion in the OP on my phone and I showed it to them.
The cashier decided to just put TLOU PS3 copy I had into the system and give it a shot. Sure enough it rang up right and I got a PS4 TLOU pre-order for $25 + tax.
tl;dr - If the employees have no idea about the deal, tell them to ring up the PS3 copy for trade and it should ring up as a $25 value.

Yes, it does. From July 29th to august 3rd (or something like that).
Our deal is even better, it's 25$ CND (making it slightly cheaper than in the US)

Just got back from Gamestop. That $36.30 refund looks nice ( I got a extra $10 back because I pre ordered in full when TLOU Remaster cost $60). Used the refund towards Alien Isolation pre order. 
Edit: You can trade in the PS3 version of The Last of Us without a game case (I used a used clear empty game case) for those that want to keep their steelbook game cases.

Same here. The system will do the work for the employees. Also, I had my $10 Powerup Rewards Coupon and he just said to bring it with me when the game releases. I can't use it on the pre-order while the game isn't out. Don't know about the $5 Kongregate one. But I'm gonna assume it's the same or otherwise use it for a $10 PSN credit.

just went and did this, at first the guy said no. I told him I was going to walk around the store for a bit so I could check the email again; I could have swore it said it was valid since yesterday, and it was. I just showed him the email and he did it...He said he thought it worked towards the purchase, and not just a bump up of trade in credit. So if they say no because of that, just show them the email

Anyone know the trade-in value for Battlefield 4? They're offering 50% extra credit for every game you trade in. Maybe I can get this sucker without paying a dime...

Yes. I am taking my PS3 copy in tomorrow when I pick it up as I already have it preordered as I took advantage of the trade a game in and get 50% more credit yesterday with two other games, so the kid told me to bring my PS3 version in and we would take care of the difference tomorrow. I figure I will use it towards Evolve.

also, for anyone like me who wanted to keep the steelbook from the ps3 version...I just put my copy in an old sleeve from something else and they accepted it.
Yup great tip... I don't have the steelbook but I *did* have some naughty dog stickers I forgot were in the case which came with the game. make sure to take all that stuff out of the case if you care about keeping it. Or, you could just keep the case and only give them the disc, that works. Just I personally have no use for the ps3 case.
A heads up for anyone going, I went to Gamestop at lunch and traded in TLoU PS3 along with some other stuff and I got an additional bonus on top of this deal for paying off the last of us remastered in full. I got another 20 something dollars for all my trades. So I basically got the game (TLoU:R) free.

What I'm saying is that my initial trade value for everything was around 90 dollars and because I chose to pay off the last of us remastered in full, I got some other sort of bonus trade credit that upped my total close to 120 dollars after he rang that in. I don't know what it was but the employee seemed surprised too, it was something automated in the system.

I'll probably jump on this, I actually got TLoU PS3 for $20 from the Black Friday sale so this trade-in is technically worth more than what I paid for it originally.

I preordered digitally and don't mind parting with my PS3 disc. I'm keeping the steelbook case for... reasons, but I want to know if I can trade the game, put the $50 down on a GS preorder, then switch it to Diablo III. OR I could just sell a new copy on B/S/T on here... or eBay it. Any help on the best way of getting money back?

not in the same transaction..I would wait until after the game comes out, then go in and cancel it. Just say you decided you didnt want to buy it anymore and ask if they can switch the money over. Shouldnt be a problem
Just came back from gamestop. At first the employee told me that I had to trade my PS3 copy tomorrow when I pick up the game, because he tried with another customer and the system din't let him. But he decided to try again and it worked lol. I also traded in an old Dualshock 3 controller I had that for some reason the buttons weren't working that well. So in the end I got $25.90 for the PS3 copy and $12.93 for the DS3. Oh and yeah, I asked him if I could also use that $5 dollars coupon from kongregate for the purchase and he told me that I could use it tomorrow when I get there to pick up my copy. So it's all good .
PD: I traded in my copy with a generic case I had (I have the steelbook case) and did not have any problems getting the full value.
