This episode seemed to be loaded with douche bags, but the show itself wasn't too bad.
Holy shit at the guy saying Killzone 2 and MGS4 isn't as big for Sony as God of War 3. Wow. These are probably two of the most hyped PS3 games in development right now. I can kind of understand his Killzone comments as it doesn't have the same pedigree as MGS, but to write-off MGS4 is just laughable.

Objective journalists? I mean shit, make fun of Killzone before it's released? That's the way to keep an open mind. So far it looks fantastic, and the problems with the first game was technical not gameplay design.

But for a PS2 game, sales of God Of War aren't anything to write home about. So yes, it does piss me off when some people act like it's a huge franchise, it's not.

MGS has worldwide appeal. god of war tears shit up in North America...but that's mostly just it.

They both have areas that could use improvement. I think the XBL interface could use a complete overhaul, but I do enjoy the content. PSN has a good interface, but annoyances such as having to install downloads and various ingame missing features (msging and custom soundtracks),
It's just the image of Sony's machine being a complete failure being portrayed in the media is so overblown. I enjoyed both my Xbox360 and PS3 in 2007, and 2008 looks to be fantastic. Let it go, these overzealous "journalists" come across as ignorant and way too emotionally invested in brands.
I also think the 360 marketplace is getting really fat.
It's like that chick that when you met her she looked good from afar and now when you see her she looks afar from good.
It's boring, has too much shit, browsing is slow...Imo they aren't using the 360º "concept" nearly enough.
How about having an actual 3d Circle for interface for example? But i guess they want to the least amount of ram possible. In any case, the marketplace right now looks horrible, and browsing isn't fun at all.

I prefer the Marketplace over PSN primarily because if you're lttp and miss something, you can still find it on Xbox Live vs the PSN where if you don't get it within a certain timeframe then you're S.O.L.

You're a fool if you think God of War III is not gonna be a MASSIVE huge title for Sony. It's going to be a flapship killer app that everyone is going to have. If people have not played God of War, they will hear about this one, and buy a PS3 for it. The key is if Sony can deliver a NEXT-GEN God of War that truly delivers. It's success will be based on it's quality, of which there is little doubt. God of War III will change alot of things for the PS3 IMO. I think it's already gained a mainstream appeal with fans much like Halo and Gears of War. People know about it , and the third one will be huge.
