...or used one and never again...

This gen is killing me and cashing in on my stupidity...I've bought the following but never used:

1. The Wii Zapper Gun that came with that Link's crossbow game
2. Camera for PS3
3. HD cables for PSPGo
4. Cradle for PSPGo
5. Classic Wii controller
6. BluRay remote for PS3
7. Motion+ (stolen from poster below)
8. RB2 drums

FML

What have you bought but never used?

Motion + got used for Wii Sports Resort when it launched, and has been in my cupboard until Skyward Sword comes out.

I feel stupid for buying it.

Oh shit, that too. Edited my OP.

I bought a second Negcon (NeGcon?) for the PS and PS2 Wipeout games. I already had a black one, wanted to try the white one, found myself liking the black one better, and put the white back in the box. I should really ebay it.

I bought a PSP-to-TV cable, but the display is so bad (wrong aspect ratio, non-integral scaling) that I hardly ever use it.

I have a Valkyria Chronicles 3-themed screen cover for the PSP that I never attach because it's black and my PSP is white. I still use the faux-leather case regularly, so I don't regret the purchase at all.

There's some I came close to, but didn't end up buying.

I know my most used though, Gameboy Player for the Gamecube, used it so much that seeing Gamecubes without it on the bottom seem alien to me.

The DS headset I bought for Pokemon Diamond and Pearl. Still in the packaging. I don't know why I never used it.

The best accessory I do have is a Ryko dual PS3 controller charger that my brother in law got me. I use that all the time.

The Rock Band table drums for that little NES-style controller. I thought I'd use it all the time, but I've yet to hook it up.

The Wii classic controller. This is mostly because the only games I've played for Wii have been Twilight Princess and Super Mario Galaxy.

The chat pad for Xbox 360. I usually only message my friends and I just use voice messages. I sometimes use it to type in codes for DLC, but that's like once in a blue moon.

I bought a PS2 fighting pad with a sticker of Ryu that would hadouken if you waved it left and right. Never used it. I then bought the 360 equivalent, and never used it for fighting games. Great for other 2D games though.

No idea what the hell I was thinking.

Hmm...DS and PSP got used maybe three or four times each. Dreamcast mouse and fishing rod still in packaging. Got a Sega CD cheap but never got any games for it.

Oh, and the PsEye I've only used occasionally as a webcam on my PC. Same with the Xbox Live Vision before I disassembled it.

I played a lot of FFX with the Chun-Li controller.

The only thing you couldn't do was Lulu's overdrive IIRC.

Sharpshooter thing for Kill Zone 3. As of now i haven't used it much, to be fair i only played KZ3 briefly. I'm working on my backlog problems and will eventually get back into it.

DCX

GBA-GC cable. I only used it to get Jirachi from the Pokemon Colliseum Pre-order disc, and then I never touched it again. I know there were other worthy games that used it, but I never owned those games.

Bought this number back in the day:

Only used it to play Track & Field about five times. (Turbo was extremely handy for running and swimming.)

Zapper and Wheel since the games didn't come unbundled.

This.

I really hate using the wheel for Mario Kart Wii, doesn't feel as good as Wiimote+Nunchuck.

Also would add the Activity Meter that came with Personal Trainer Walking. Used the thing for like a week. Good thing it was only like 10 dollars from Target Clearance and got Club Nintendo coins from it too.

Wii Zapper (free with Link's Crossbow Training)
Wii Wheel (free with Mario Kart Wii)

I never even took those out of the box except to get to the games.

No idea what the hell I was thinking.

Did you have F-Zero: GP Legend? There were quite a few courses that required the e-Reader to play.

When F-Zero Climax came out, I noticed that all the e-Reader courses were made from the same course chunks that you use to make your own courses in Climax, so I replicated some of them. They were fun, but I would have preferred the original backgrounds of GP Legend.

The only one I never really used was the Super Advantage stick for SNES. I got it as a gift and I never really liked it that much. I usually don't buy peripherals because I know that they won't be well supported.

Don't think I've ever done that actually. Well, I did buy the Nintendo WiFi dongle...it worked for about 3 months then broke, so I didn't use it that much.

About two years ago I bought on clearance a new GameCube Broadband Adapter for about $3 at a GameCrazy store, and I still keep it sealed. I am kind of hoping to find a couple of cheap working GCNs and setup a Mario Kart LAN.

Classic controller pro

One of those lcd ps1 screens, biggest waste of money ever, games looked shitty on it and it was pointless. I don't know what possessed me to get it.

Not a big fan of peripherals in general.

Not sure if this counts, but Final Fantasy XI, just so I could get the PS2 HDD. I was hoping for more support of the drive...and never found the time to start the game.

Other things include the 360 steering wheel, PS Move, etc. Pretty much the same as everyone else. =P

Gladly nothing so far. Maybe the Kinect in the future.

The OP contains both my least used accessory:
The Wii Zapper Gun that came with that Link's crossbow game

And my most used accessory:
BluRay remote for PS3

Wii Zapper (Came with Link's Crossbow Training)
Wii Wheel (Came with Mario Kart Wii)
PS2 EyeToy (Sold after I never used it.)
PS2 DVD Remote (Not necessary after I bought a 360.)
DDR Pads (Sold shortly after I failed a lot.)
Guitar Hero Guitar (Still have it and GHI, II, III, & Rocks the '80s.)
2 GameCube-to-GBA Link Cables (One from Four Swords Adventures.)
E-Reader (Mainly used for Animal Crossing, wish I had some SMB3 cards so I could've used them.)
Time Crisis Guns (Every time I play the game at an arcade, I always brag about how I can play it at home...but I never do.)

what the HELL was I thinking

You could wrap that thing around something else to get some actual use out of it.

dreamcast keyboard

Same here. Although, I didn't technically buy the DreamCast keyboard. I got one for free when I bought a DreamCast and never had any use for it.
