Pureauthor said:(And Ami, if the GCN version really WAS the way 'God intended', there wouldn't be a Wii version. Omnipotence, sovereignty, all that. Why do you think it kept getting delayed to the point of the Wii launch? Sorry, argument failed.)

another thing that bugs me about the Wii version is the cursor never leaves when you're fighting enemies, and the fairy is there during cutscenes.

**** the Gamecube Zelda, I'll play that on my Wii

sammy said:I had some good gameplay sessions with the Wii Zelda TP at E3 -------- I don't think I'd ever want to play it without the new controller, it just worked so well and felt like an upgrade for a traditional adventure game like that. It offered everything a traditional controller would, and acted better in ways it needed to.
and not to mention all the items we don't know about yet, I'm assuming there will be plenty that take advantage of the controller --- I wouldn't be supprised to see many items that the Wii version has that the GCN simply won't, simply based on the new control.
just my $0.02
GSG Flash said:I guess I have to try it out with the Wii controller first, but when I was watching a gameplay video, it just looked painful to play with because the guy was fumbling around with it and it was over sensitive and it just seemed to suck the fun out, although the widescreen support may be enough to make me bite, but I don't know.

sammy said:it was EXTREMELY sensetive, more than any other game at the show ------ mostly becasue the screen seemed devided into 4 vertical 'aiming' segments that navi repeated at (would appear at the other end of the screen if you went off of one end) ---- this made the aiming as sensetive as in aiming at a portion of the screen that was 1/4th the size ..... this might make more sense when the thing releases, all other games seemed 1 to 1 scale aiming like a laser pointer on the screen (so less sensetive)
but, that being said --- it took about 3 minutes to adjust, which is weeks (months/years/never) less than most people took adjusting to analog aiming.

I've decided I wont get Zelda. Just too many games this year, and Okami should fill in quite nicely.SantaCruZer said:I think come Zelda TP Wii launch time , amir0x and anihawk will be converted and believers!
