When the remote for wii was announced, I was ecstatic. I had hoped Nintendo was going to go in the direction of some sort of 3d full motion device and that's what it appeared to be. I imagined playing sword games and being able to remove any bodypart on an opponent, slicing them however I may please. Playing FPS's and being able to turn the controller around and shoot myself in the head. True analog 3d control, a whole level of gaming interactivity.
So why the **** do I see "gestures" in games (slash your wiimote for canned animations!) and why the **** do people think waggling the goddamn controller to do something that could be done with a button is some how innovative or intuitive?
BASICALLY
