Only one I can think of is Resistance 3. Scott Rhode said in a past interview that there will unlikely to be more Resistance games (at the time) because R3 didn't sell well. That was later confirmed by the Insomniac leak.

Given that some writers who worked on The Veilguard are now also working on Ghost, the chances are a little higher that we'll get some cringy and woke dialogue. But there is no way Ghost bombs as bad as The Vailguard, but it only needs to underperform tho, and considering that Sony is already woke up. The only change will have to come from the Japanese side of things. We know Hermen is a cuck as well as Neil, the Western division will sink the ship to push the ideology.

Who really cares anyway? Some people complain about the actress, others about the fact that it's a new protagonist - or that it's a female protagonist. Then there are those bothered by the developers' comments. For some, it's just 'more of the same, unimpressive graphics, or even a sense of setting fatigue.

But in the end, what matters is this: Anyone who enjoyed the first game knows exactly what to expect - and they'll have just as much fun this time around.
My personal opinion: All the negative buzz won't hurt the game at all. I have no doubt it will receive strong reviews, and the actress will likely pick up an award or two, as it perfectly fits the zeitgeist of the media landscape.

Not saying I'm happy about the graphic eh but if the game is good as the prequel, I can live with that.

I'll honestly say that the trailers wouldn't have sold me on this game if I wasn't already sold by how great Tsushima was (that game's trailers didn't sell me on it either, I didn't play it until the PS5 version was released). If this game is just more of that with some tweaks, I'm 100% day 1.

And yeah, that employee made a really bad move, but she was let go (or asked to leave, who knows what happened) pretty much immediately. No need to punish an entire great studio and miss out on a very likely awesome game over that.

This my opinion too. Moron always exist unfortunately. Surely the studio had to act faster but the whole question is quite delicate.

GoT was my second favorite game in 2020 and I just love the general atmosphere, music, colors, designs and vibes this series has. Also I personally really liked the gameplay, especially on the harder difficulties. The online component was fun as well, the only reason I ever got PS Plus.

I suspect the real reason behind it's because the actress is a notorious woke propagandist, though the game not seems that woke to me but when the other side smell stuff like this, lose easily their mind.

Pretty much the whole western devs industry had someone liking this or commenting this, tons of people from MS and I would not be surprised to see people from NERD and Retro Studios too. The problem is not just Sony and this game had plenty of people that are not assholes incapable of empathy either.

Also, when others were cancelling people and their works and the answer was "artistic works have value despite the artist being a good person or an asshole"… well it would apply here too.

I didn't know the names of the other two and decided going back and sifting through millions of tweets wasn't worth the effort. The only reason they fired that singular employee is because it was the easiest way to try and get out from under this controversy, not because they disagreed with it or disavowed it. We had to find out from a gaming journalist that they were fired, and we only got that far because the employee posted that they were first. Sucker Punch and Sony have said absolutely nothing about this. They're fucking complicit and everyone knows it.
