I really really liked the first one. I never played anything after that and once they started releasing games with impossible to remember names that were side stories or whatever I just couldn't keep up.

KH2 Final Mix and Birth By Sleep Final Mix are some of the most fun action games ever.

BBS even has a much less convoluted story since its a prequel (though it does get real weird towards the end).
