lol That pax panel is great!

It sounds like they don't like working at cbsi. I could have been reading the jokes wrong though.

I definitely got that vibe as well. They've seemed disappointed in it for a while, really. When they first got bought, it sounded like they were excited about having access to more resources and expanding the site, when it feels like the opposite has happened. I would be frustrated, too.

Panel is great, Jeff as host is way better than I imagined, and dat Jimmy Hart swag, he should get a megaphone next time.

John Drake, I have totally grown on him, he is awesome

Part of me blames John Davidson for bringing them in and then buggering off imediately after.
But I have the feeling they really had no really viable options outside CBSi considering the financial situation.
I think it must just be a bigger kick in the teeth than usual when they've lived outside the big company bullshit, that most of us have to deal with each day at work. You become numb to it after a while, but if you've been outside it and free for a while, it must be slightly jarring to go back into that.
I still think they're cool with it all, but it's been a weird for them all personally so any extra life problems outside of that seem exacerbated.

Jeff Gerstmann for the next GM of Monday Night RAW!

It's really amazing to see how Ryan/Vinny/jeff were able to make QL of bad games into some of the most fun stuff on the site, and compare it to how boring Brad/Jeff QLs are.

People keep mentioning this and I'm terrified of watching the Q&A in case it's incredibly awkward.

I'm guessing someone asked what happened to TANG without knowing about Ryan?

A play-by-play; guy comes out, says "Really quick question, do you guys have any plans for more episodes of TANG?" Jeff just says "No", a couple seconds of silence, the dude nervously says "Quick question, quick answer!" and the next guy asks his question.

If the world was ending, and the only thing that could save the planet was more episodes of TANG I think Rorie could probably handle it.

I hadn't watched any of TANG until after Ryan had passed and while I enjoyed it, it ended in a good spot and doesn't really need to be revived.

Pretty much inevitable the moment John Davison bailed.

Holy shit I'm dumb...

It just clicked in my head that "Enter the dominatrix" is a joke on "Enter the Matrix" hence the setting for SR4... holy shit, mind blown lol.

Which is crazy, because Enter the Dominatrix was a Saint's Row The Third DLC that evolved into Saints Row IV. And the first DLC announced for Saint's Row IV is Enter the Dominatrix!

I love Volition.

Yeah, I want the second DLC rumored "The Saints save Christmas"

I sort of hate this guy's mindframe. Walking Dead on console was fine. The console versions had a lot of problems, but controlling it or navagating around the environments wasn't one of them. Just reeks of PC elitism, "If it ain't WASD, it ain't gaming."

I'm of the opinion that playing First Person Shooters with Analog Sticks is as madness as playing console Third Person games with a keyboard and mouse.

They're just two different kinds of games that require different levels of precision.

Saint's Row IV, for instance, becomes ridiculously easy with Mouse and Keyboard controls, because you can one shot every single enemy with a headshot. Headshots are that strong because you're not supposed to be hitting them every single time.

Walking Dead probably works with both, but I played it on PC with KB+M.

It was the sharp intake of breath as well that made it quite awkward

A bit weird for sure, TWD was great with controller imo.

I just think it's personal preference. I'd love to see how the top clans on 360, PS3, WiiU and PC for Call of Duty Black Ops 2 would fair against one another using their weapons of choice. It's the same way how in the FGC, everyone agrees that Fight sticks are great, but someone using a pad can do just as well if that's how they choose to play.

So getting elitist about a play style just comes off as silly to me. You can be good using anything. Shit, there's an MK9 pro who's paraplegic, so he uses a controller that requires his mouth.

Giant Bomb is pretty much the only site I go on aside from this, but god damn its unbearable watching Brad's quick looks. He can defend it all he wants, but he is so bad at games. So bad.

Hey Brad, hold RT to run in Rayman.

Holy shit.. Vinny cut that Prince V. Charly Murphy video. I use to think that video was hilarious because the video cuts were perfect.

It's based on the current Nickelodeon series but...

that show looks like this:

WHY DOES THE GAME LOOK LIKE THIS

My 5 year old daughter loves the show. Even played through the classic arcade game with me. She wants nothing to with the more realistic Turtles so the new game can be played when she is around. :\

I played the pc version with a gamepad. I rather use a gamepad if its an option. My problem with TWD is it kept eating the save file. Never bothered to finish it.

I'm halfway through the archive of this morning's Bombin' the A.M. and they haven't mentioned the Xbox One release date yet. Do they talk about it?

Mad props to Jeff for stepping up after some shitty life stuff.

He really did a fantastic job. Everyone kind of stepped their game up (Brad with the twerking, Vinny with the constant jabs at CBS, etc). Even John Drake and Johnny V brought their A game.

Waiting for last night's Scoops archive to go up. Was it a good one?

Skip the game on the train, unless you want to have a bad time (zZzzzzZzz). Things went well after that though.

Besides some stuttering and that "Will there be any more TANG" question >_> it wasn't too bad. Although that silence after that question was hilariously awkward.

Aren't those the Michael Bay designs?

Not.. quite. They have the same outfits/character setup/etc as the nickelodeon series (Donnie even has the missing tooth) but the overall style of the Michael Bay ones. It's like they started with the movie in mind but got it done too fast and had to switch to the current one, or something.

It's just baffling.
