These Sonic 3&K style shouts are fucking making this game

This game looks freaking badass.

This looks super fun.

this fucking game

This looks amazing. New game for boring lectures.

I could watch them play this all night.

I'm not a member so I can't watch UF, what game are you guys talking about here?

FGC tournaments are amazing because they made me aware of Windjammers and Lethal League.

:bow mystery game tournaments.

oh my god this is nuts

Ahahah Lethal League is literally the Divekick concept done properly (ie in a way thats actually intuitive to people that arent invested in fighters)

Did they go into Lethal League fresh, or did someone play it beforehand? Part of the joy of the UFGT9 stream was the gradual discovery of mechanics, which was helped by the participants not bothering to read the instructions and you know the crew are great at doing that.

Jeff was the only one with any familiarity from what I could tell. But he didn't realize you could hit upwards so that was something that came about naturally as they played.

Brad needs to stop relying on people telling him what to do in Dota and play more solo games. Once he learns to trust himself, he'll start looking at The Minimap once in awhile.

that sketch SNL did when Galifianakis hosted about New Balance shoes being worn mostly by chubby white guys in their 30s must have ethered Ryan so bad

How was UF tonight? What was played?

Brad played Element4l
Ryan played Cart Life
Jeff played Injustice
Patrick played Shadow Warrior
Vinny played Super Puzzle Platformer Deluxe (with the others)
Jeff and Vinny played Lethal League

I think that was everything? Watching Brad play Element4l was nearly as frustrating as the Quick Look. Cart Life is always extremely interesting and had all of them engaged. Jeff playing Injustice was a bit boring because he was just doing training with the two DLC characters but it was short so it didn't wear out its welcome. I enjoyed everything around Shadow Warrior but they definitely weren't overly kind about how it had aged. Vinny's gaming time was good and everyone seemed to be having a decent time.

Watching the last ten minutes for Lethal League was the true highlight and that was completely unplanned by them. If nothing else watch that.

I thought this was a better UF than a couple recent ones due to the guys being into it a bit more but I also think them playing games that we saw very recently in Quick Looks really lessens some of the surprise of seeing them bring out the random stuff. I would almost suggest you just skip the Element4l stuff if you were frustrated by the Quick Look but I did start enjoying it towards the end when A) Brad had moments where he played better and B) When he did poorly the other guys generally found it humorous.

What a surprise they continue to recycle stuff they have done recently.

Beginning to regret buying a years subscription, slowly beginning to dislike everything about GB.

Another apologist, I will whine about whatever I want. If they don't try new things whats the point in subscribing if you can see the same content but for free in quicklooks.

That was a awesome UPF. So many great bits. I don't really watch quick-looks, so everything was new to me.

A+++ Fast shipping. Would buy again.

Ah, man. A tweet on the GB homepage spoiled the GSL finals for me. Oh well. I guess that's the risk you take when you have to rely on VODs. If anyone else plans on watching it, I suggest avoiding Brad's twitter feed.

I think apologist is my new least favorite word.

Seriously. Since when the fuck did "I think your complaint is dumb and baseless, here's why" equate to "UGHHH DEFENSE FORCE TIEM"? If you can't handle your criticism being open to being criticised in kind, kindly get the fuck off the Internet.

And are New Balance shoes still somewhat of a thing in the US or is it just Ryan? As a European, I only know them from the late 90s, we were cool kids and called them Nutella shoes. Now, I find them to be pretty hideous.

They're kinda a thing in the US in some circles. They're super comfortable and they come in a billion different colors and can be ordered customized to hell and back if you want.
