I've noticed that if there's one thing Americans love, it's long weekends.
Pretty sure that's universal.
Americans get far less vacation than European countries, but yeah who doesn't like long weekends?

I like the idea of Giant Bomb using a different royalty free song for E3 each year.
Party Hard was the theme song for E3 2012 and Lockdown was the theme song for E3 2013.

The problem was that they did too many too quickly, and it lost it's appeal. Those first two streams were awesome, then they did the Saturn one which was okay, then they did 3 more shorter ones after that that simply weren't as good.
They sort of got played out, which is a shame.
They switched CDN providers from amazon and they solved the problem for some people but caused problems elsewhere for others. They are aware of the problem but don't know how to solve it without throwing a ton of money at it - multiple providers and redundancy like the bigger sites have.
Personally I just download everything and then watch it from a local file. You don't have to be premium, you can use a browser plugin to scrape it.

Near the end when they were using Amazon, I was only able to watch their videos after downloading and that could take more than an hour for longer videos. It has been worlds better for me since the switch, I can stream HD videos without an issue 99% of the time but it is apparent that it has introduced new issues for a different set of users. It's really unfortunate.
