We could actually use a digital source for Diablo 1, if GOG got that and the Hellfire expansion together online, they'd be doing something Blizzard couldn't. So that's probably unlikely I suppose.

Most of Activision/Blizzard's games are still sold through their own online store, and can be tied to a battle.net account. While I wouldn't rule out the possibility of them putting some of their stuff on GoG, I just find it unlikely that they would allow others to sell their work when they're currently building up their own digital distribution system.

Also that would be a major disappointment. I've got my fingers crossed that "Ride with the outlaws" is the Lucasarts title.

I don't believe Rock N' Roll Racing was ever released outside of consoles.

yeah most, aka. none of their older games. not even warcraft 2 battle.net edition.

So what does this mean?

Dungeon Keeper?

It's funny that the more information they add the less certain we become. And I thought stating "Outlaws" was a blunder at first, it was probably completely intentional just to mess with us.

They have certainly improved their hints from the lame ones they gave before the Activision reveal. Well done, GOG, well done.

So many possibilities on these, and almost all of them ROCK! Blizzard one is probably the weakest, but still attractive.

EDIT: I picked up DK2 via a UK company called Sold Out, but could not get it to install properly to my computer (though copying and pasting the disc worked). I'd still buy it from GOG though if it has proper Windows 7 support and installation.

"You dungeon is too cold, Keeper. Install central heating."

Capturing 4 or 5 humans and dropping a chicken into the jail and watching them fighting over it. Gorgeous!

That's pretty damn close to the Dungeon Keeper 2 font.

Damn close? It's exactly the same! Look at the "M", for example.

I think we have a winner.

If it's Eidos, what are you guys looking forward to?

- Thief (duhhhhhhh)
- Commandos
- Tomb Raider
- Legacy of Kain

I'm trying to remember if Gangsters was any good? I remember playing it and liking it, but I was younger then so it might be a turd and I just liked the title.

I'll take my own guess assuming Dungeon Keeper is correct.

dream of the stars: Alpha Centauri
ride with the outlaws: Road Rash (thanks Stump)
fear your past: Alice
go to the underworld: Ultima Underworld
monsters fear you: Dungeon Keeper

So the conference is tomorrow right? The wait is officially killing me.

Two clues left, if they're every ~8 hours, hopefully with a corresponding release tomorrow as well. Then we get to complain how the games we wanted didn't get released.

But even if it is a disappointing publisher, at least we get a CDP conference about The Witcher 2, so no matter what, I'll leave happy.

I'd guess Wing Commander for dream of the stars, personally. But I certainly wouldn't mind the first two clues being Lucasarts titles... :)

The first Gangsters is excellent, very deep and complex and although quite intimidating at first with a steep learning curve, the game has a great sense of accomplishment once everything clicks. The sequel was a turd, unfortunately, as the developers tried to simplify the formula and remove the sandbox feel of the original in favour of a proper mission structure. The result was a game that looked bland and played disappointingly, with an entirely forgettable story and characters, dull mission design and some awful AI.

That, my friend, is a powerful lineup. Everything except MAYBE Road Rash, and that's a BIG maybe.

If it is really EA, it's kind of funny after the EA sucks thread. Where we discussing how they had the mother load of classic PC games

Carmageddon, although I thought the rights were a bit more tied up. Thief and Kain. Outside of that and a few more recent titles available elsewhere Eidos really doesn't have that great of a catalog.

That last clue/font really points to Dungeon Keeper, though.

If it's EA, I would happily pay $10 for a digital release of the Ultima Collection (Ultima 1-8) that they put out a 10+ years ago.

Clearly it's EA and LucasArts. Announcement of the generation

That would be amazing, I would buy pretty much every game released for both.

I think it's definitely EA because of that last one, it reminds me of Dungeon Keeper Text.

If it really IS EA then a lot of games will be bought this friday, along with the ones that are just waiting in my shopping basket over at gog.com.
If it's EA AND Lucas Arts I think I´ll have to take a couple of days of vacation next week.

edit: Wow, I didn´t even think about Ultima 7. Best darn game ever..

commandos are already on there. gangsters weren't that great. eidos would also be anachronox, carmageddon, daikatana lol, deus ex, gender wars?, hitman, joint strike fighter, myth?, omikron?, project igi, startopia, swiv?, urban chaos
