It's okay, ReiGun.

We both know Panther would whoop that ass.
It's not even about that (though that's true). It just kinda takes the fun out of these talks when one character is given dumb advantages like "Let him prepare" or "Let him have a rematch." Silly thing to harp on in a talk like this, but eh.

Plus, Batman is hardly the only hero who prepares. Spidey has a damned armory, filled with weapons specifically tailored to each of his rogues.

It's because they know that when it comes down to it, Batman has no chance. So they go "well if you give him five months to prepare he can totally take down Superman," even though Supes could literally vaporize Bats in several different ways before he could get halfway to pulling out the Kryptonite from his pocket.

Then why not do two separate Death Battle categories that consists of "Entertainment" & an Unbiased "Pure Death Battle" where the victor is defined by all the research given?

There wouldn't be as much controversy if this was done, but that's just my opinion.

I don't pick favorites, btw.

Pretty much seems like they do exactly this, but they only make one fight. What you're not seeing is that they are using all of their research and deciding on a victor; in all likelihood, the fight you see is just because they need to entertain fans on the video, not the actual 100% result of the research they used to decide a victor. They aren't going to unnecessarily balloon their budget and confuse people to create two fights when only one will do nicely.

Oh shit son: http://www.kanzenshuu.com/2013/02/20/super-saiyan-god-form-teased-for-battle-of-gods/

The April 2013 issue of V-Jump, released today in Japan, teases something — apparently a new “form” — called “Super Saiyan God” for the upcoming film, Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, due out 30 March 2013:

The legend among legends — what is “Super Saiyan God”?!

The mightiest warriors in the universe, the “Saiyans”. The mightiest being, passed down to this people holding wondrous legends –. That is “Super Saiyan God”!!

Just what sort of form is it, with what kind of strength?! The answer will be revealed at the theater…!!

So what is this new “Super Saiyan God” form…?! It is worth noting that it is written out as 超サイヤ人ゴッド (Sūpā Saiya-jin Goddo), using the English word “god”. The issue goes on to explain:

The Oracle Fish’s revelation holds the key!!
39 years ago, the Oracle Fish foretold the appearance of the “Super Saiyan-God” to Birusu, God of Destruction. This revelation hastened the God of Destruction’s awakening, and is the genesis of this tale…!!

Super Saiyan 4 and GT's punk ass about to get retconned, time for Round 2 with Supes.

Guys, Superman wins because instead of talking about powers and more powers and unseen levels of power, he'll just kill Goku.

I explained it.

What? Since when does Goku drone on about power?

I'm including inner monologues as well. Also, in DBZ, it seems like after any time someone takes a big blow, they stand motionless with their hand on their side for like 2 minutes while the villain just waits around. I think Superman would just take of business instead of watching Goku hold his ribs with one eye closed and a sweat drop holding steady in place on his forehead. Too much recovery time between blows for the DBZ gang, Goku included.

Well yeah, the animation team had to expand a 15 page weekly comic book (including thought bubbles) into 20+ minutes of animation.

Superman doesn't kill right?

As a general rule, no.

Depending on which comics you read, he has broken that rule on one or two extremely rare occasions. In the post-crisis continuity, he executed Zod and two other evil Kryptonians via Kryptonite for their crimes and the continuing danger they posed to Earth. In the iconic alternate universe story What Ever Happened to the Man of Tomorrow, he (ending spoilers)
used the phantom zone projector to kill Mxyzptlk
.
