Got this in a humble bundle a while back. Went in to it cold aside from the 'not a game, lol' stuff, and ended up loving it. It isn't without fault and I understand why some people don't like it, but I'm glad it at least has the chance to find a new audience.

Pricing is important here though, because it is very short without much replay value and Wii U owners don't get the advantages of things like an open online market place that encourages competition and fair prices.

Im a 30 year old straight male and a long time gamer and I can tell you that Gone Home is a far superior and more satisfying experience than any call of duty game i've ever played.

A fantastic game that had a great critical reception and sold respectfully for an indie game.

A certain segment of the gaming community has had a problem with the subject matter

a lesbian main character and her coming-of-age story

and that spiraled out into this vocal minority attempting to sabotage and badmouth the game whenever possible.

It's pretty sad, but the sales numbers and continued critical praise for gone home indicate that it seems like a failed campaign, thank goodness.

You guys must be new to reactions for basically any indie game announcement from Nintendo or Sony's official Twitter accounts.

Didn't seem like people commenting on that tweet have a problem with steamworld heist or the swapper.

Make no mistake, these attacks by the Westboro gamergate church are very focused and deliberate.

the funny thing about gone home is on steam it has like 79% positive reviews, but all of the top voted ones are negative.

also excellent game and one of last years best. hope it comes to everything.
