wow. $300 is insane

What?! That's just crazy for a thing that does nothing but stream stuff from your phone to display it on your TV. Definitely no buy if it's that expensive.

Sorry! Devices on Google Play is not available in your country yet.
We're working to bring devices to more countries as quickly as possible.
Please check back again soon.

Yeah, I get that too. As with everything else on Play except for Android apps.

I hope they announce that google music is opening for other countries.

All of this Q stuff is totally useless outside of the US.

According to the youtube video for the Q the landscape mode of the 7 puts the nav bar on the bottom? Leave that shit on the side, wth google.

I really don't see the point of the Q. Couldn't you just make it a Google TV box (ball) and add these features to it?

I get that they are trying something new here, but I just don't think they have that "Apple cool-aid" affect on hardware.

So is that orb thing actually a google tv or android device? Specs seem pretty good for something that just streams stuff.

Seems like it actually does nothing at all on its own; all it does is stream stuff from your phone/tablet. So why is it $299?! Just insane.

Seems that way, hopefully the keynote shows otherwise but I'm not hopeful. More excited about updates to all the apps.

299 for a dumb streaming box? Whats wrong with google.

This shit should cost 49!

I can buy a 200 phone that can do all that !

Why would they put an amp in? Surely easier to let people connect their own stuff up? Or are they trying to go after the sonos market. (With a set up that's going to be EVEN MORE expensive!)
