So Facebook wanted to put the social experience of stuff online... Google just trademarked putting your entire GD life online!

That was incredible. What the hell man.

But so far it's just an eye mounted streaming camera. I want them to show off what else it can do. And the HUD.

So, I guess, I don't get the excitement. It's a webcam attached to a pair of glasses. Is this something hugely different than what we can already do?

(I'm asking seriously, because I'm confused as to why people are finding this impressive.)

How?

I don't understand what was just shown that couldn't be done with a helmet cam, etc?

Pretty sure that's been done before using a variety of techs

Has a head-mounted camera ever livestreamed a fooking jump out of a plane, during the conference?

Also don't forget it's an entire fricking computer, not just a camera. It was livestreaming to Google+ the whole time.

Pretty cool demo but didn't really show off anything amazing. Seems to be just an eye-mounted camera at this point.

I wanna see a HUD and augmented reality/techno stuff.

I think the point is it's just feeding directly into Google Plus which a helmet cam wouldn't do by default.
But that's really just showing off a feature of Google Plus (and it exists on a number of services) ... nothing that makes the glasses special beyond a cool form-factor

the only way this could be better?

IF THE POWERPOINT WAS PARTY MODE IN GOOGLE+ AND THE PICTURES THEY ARE TAKING WITH GLASS WERE UPLOADING AUTOMATICALLY
