So what was that FPS they showed? It looked like Bulletstorm but none of the liveblogs list what it is.

Just got internet access. Is there a video to the keynote? I want to see it from start to finish.

From a chrome dev.

Ah hem. Anyone? I'm using the Verge Story stream but this isn't as helpful.

Just did a rough search, nothing yet. You meant the day two keynote right?

All keynotes, I guess. I haven't had internet access for about 48 hours. Any good news about Android apps? I just had a ton update.

This Google Orb or whatever looks nice but is ridiculously expensive and doesn't do anything spectacular. Bomba.

Nexus 7 is a big meh. It's good for Google to get it out but I have no use for it. iPad 3 owner here.

Google Glasses only for IO devs sucks but I can understand why Google would do that. It'll be useless for now, anyway. I suppose it's just an always on Google Goggles.

Is Chrome for Android finally better than the regular browser now?

Any good writeups about JB 4.1?

First day has been uploaded by some CNET France. Second day will probably follow eventually. I'd expect the "official" upload sometime in the next week.

OP has some info.

Repent, for the Kingdom of Nexus is at hand.

Depends on your view. It's always been better as far as I've been concerned.

Wait, for the radio talk he's having right now: wouldn't it depend how many apps use the radio and transferring data? He's talking about it as if there were one app using the radio at the same time but wouldn't this not work if there are several apps that transfer data at different times?

You're welcome!

I'm not sure, but I think he probably was able to measure a single app's network usage using one of those tools he talked about. TBH the network stuff is kinda boring to me. Was hoping for UI performance stuff.

Will the streams be available later? Like on YouTube or something?

All of them? Doesn't seem like it, just the ones being livestreamed on the Google I/O site.

The first day sessions are already up on YouTube and linked in the OP.

Not being broadcasted. :([/QUOTE]

Yeah, this has been a great and informative session. Definitely going to need to rewatch it (as long as someone puts it up) as I missed the 1st half.

Where are those awesome slides archived? lol

The session should but up on YouTube tonight or tomorrow. The slides with embedded vids will probably be shared shortly...

"Smudging butter on your screen gives you free antialiasing." Apparently, that's what they did for the AT-AT Walkers in Empire Strikes Back.

The Android army is mobilizing (lol.)

On keeping the OP updated! and for the vids that I was too lazy to search for myself :P

Oh, sure! I hate it when OPs are outdated a day after the event. Also kinda why I make mine "open source," so if I get lazy others can keep it updated if they want.

So far that hasn't really happened though. :P
