I am buying two.

I want to play Killer Instinct, Crimson Dragon and Forza 5. Also, I can't wait for the next Halo. What is wrong with buying a console for the games?
 
I'm being very serious right now. I was going to buy an Xbox One at launch just to play KI and Crimson Dragon but because of Cboat's comments I am delaying my purchase by 6-12 months because I believe there are is some serious shit coming down the pipes concerning that system. MS has been acting like idiots concerning the xbox brand since 2010 so i'm very concerned. This will be the first major game system I don't buy at launch since Gamecube.
 
Why even send such a PM if you aren't going to say anything and have no confirmation of hearsay? Is it to get us hyped up for the next big "floodgate" All the leakers seem to have an odd celebrity complex. Not to decry Cboat of course, he's done good work.
 
Seems like we'll never know what he was alluding to. Would have been entertaining to see how people reacted to it, but I'm guessing enough people try to constantly discredit cboat that he doesn't want to put his credibility on the line over something he can't actually provide proof about whether he's right or wrong.

We COULD consider the possibility that "explosive" means too damning for himself as a leaker... it would blow up in his face if he leaked the wrong tidbits. No?
 
Perhaps certain GAFers are considering the XB1 because of, you know, the actual games. Perhaps Forza, Killer Instinct or Xbox Fitness float their boat.

I'm happy to be getting both consoles, and I don't know why CBOAT is so against anyone buying a XB1. At the end of the day - drama aside - it's just a piece of hardware that plays games and stuff.

Eyes wide open, and I've been buying game systems for a long damn time. If there are two things I've learned in the process it's 1) All major systems are worth owning and 2) Never believe the FUD.
 
One thing I never understood about the Xbox 360 is it has a power brick literally the size of a real brick outside of it which you would think help reduces the heat and all that, but yet it still managed to fry itself.

Xbox One also has a brick.

For those of you who are hardware adept, seriously what is the purpose of the massive brick? Esp when the system is fucking huge as is without all of those components inside of it? Since its obviously not put out to save space.

This thread kinda brought back that thought to my mind and was curious.
 
With each message of him it looks more and more clear to me that he was trying to hurt the Xbox brand on purpose. The whole "he's leaking anything but we only notice the bad news" theory is becoming less convincing.

Anyway I take that message as good news. If there's nothing more he can say to discourage people from buying the console, it means that the worst is behind us. :)

I'm honestly not sure how you managed to get that conclusion out of a post in which he says "If people are still considering the Xbox One after all we know about it, then nothing I say will change their minds.". It's pretty damn obvious that it's very bad news.
 
The Xbox division is in deep shit if they release the XB1 with problems, especially if those problems are as bad or worse than the RROD.

If only CBOAT would at least HINT at what he knows.

I'm still checking my email every now and then and still nothing. :( I'm really hoping the waves thing is true and I get something for free. :P Seriously saving money is nice, I want to save some money, I'm going so broke with the PS4 and Xbox One coming out so soon.

I consider the hyping of deals like FIFA EXCLUSIVE CONTENT and it turning out to be nothing important to be pretty bad for both sides. :P
 
Next Gen comes out next week. I'm officially done with CBoat. Sorry bud, I don't give a shit about rumors that much anymore.

There was a point of folks reporting shorting with their X360s, but apparently the incidents I have in mind was a cause of the nyko? cooling unit which attached over the plug outlet, which then you use the power cable and plug it into the fan unit.
